Hohhot to Huiteng Xile Grassland & Hongshiya Nature 1-Day Tour

The driver was very helpful and had no trouble finding both my pickup and drop-off locations. The small group setting made the trip much more comfortable and enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned and followed a smooth flow throughout the day. I also appreciated the freedom to explore at my own pace, without feeling rushed or pressured. Most importantly, there was no forced shopping or compulsory buying stops, which made the experience much more relaxing and authentic. Overall, a well-organized tour that gave us enough flexibility to enjoy the journey in our own way. Highly recommended.

This day trip to Huitengxile Grassland and Ulan Hada Volcano was absolutely worth it! In the morning, we enjoyed the cool breeze on the vast grassland, admiring the Ninety-Nine Springs dotted among the green grass, and even had the option to go horseback riding. The volcanoes in the afternoon were also incredibly impressive. We checked in at Volcano No. 4, drove around Volcano No. 6, and even found beautiful agate stones at Volcano No. 8. Taking photos in the astronaut suit also created a fantastic atmosphere. The driver was very steady, and we had a great time throughout the entire trip. This was a wonderful travel experience, highly recommended!

overall, a good value for money trip. Journey to the volcano and back is quite far, more than 500 km. The driver was punctual and friendly. As it was off peak, could negotiate for a cheaper rate when taking the horse riding activity at the grassland. Volcano area was 2 1/2 hours, interesting place to visit.

The guide picked us up in his mini bus from our hotel and he was very clear in explaining the day's itinerary. 2 of us were joined by 5 other indivudual participants from China, so our group size was 7 and we had great fun with this cosy and fun group. We took a combo package for the activities at the grasslands, covering off road vehicle, horse ride and grass sliding, which was very worth it.

Although it wasn't yet the season for lush green grass, the grasslands offered a unique experience. The volcano crater was also quite stunning. The driver was very kind and helpful.

The itinerary wasn't too packed. Driver Brother Xu was very attentive, punctual, and reminded us of anything important to note. He also took special care of my 80-year-old mother. He's a wonderful driver and guide.

this was a very enjoyable experience. It was a bit cheesy at the grasslands but the scenery was superb, and I loved the volcanoes.
