【Departing from Tokyo】Ashikaga Flower Park Wisteria & Hitachi Seaside Park One-Day Tour

It was a great tour. We had enough time to see all the important sights and buy some suveniers. Our guide Zoe was very nice and organised, and as she speaks a lot of languages fluently it was easy and interesting to listen to her stories. Thank you Zoe for the wonderful trip ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

We went in early May so not all flowers were at full bloom anymore, but they are still pretty. This tour actually just mainly offers convenient transfers from Tokyo to the two garden destinations. This is not a fully guided tour. It’s mostly just the guide explaining a bit and dropping us off at each location then it’s free time for everyone to walk around for 90 minutes. It gives you some time to take some good photos but not sufficient enough to leisurely walk around, get souvenirs and eat. It is advised to bring asome food with you during the trip as travel time is long, longer than your actual stay in the garden. Travel time is about 2.5 hours to and from Tokyo, and another two hours in between the two gardens. Our guide Zoey is organized, making sure to call back everyone so we remain on schedule.

Our guide, Arielliu, took excellent care of us. The place is incredibly beautiful and well worth it. We were very impressed and highly recommend it.

Love all the flowers blooming in the two attractions! great tie art however too short time, only 1 hour in each park. clear instructions from the tour guide but waited for some time for the bus to arrive at Shinjuku departure, and then we have to queue and waited under the sun for the entrance ticket by the tour guide in each park. 1 hour in each site was very rush, we took 2 hours plus to reach the park, and then 2 hours to another park, and finally again 2 hours to return to Shinjuku.

Our tour guide, Tommy, provided very detailed explanations, and the food he recommended was delicious. This trip was definitely worthwhile and highly recommended. If you're visiting Tokyo, you should consider joining this tour.

The nemophilia flower is already in full bloom as well as the Wisteria flowers. It was a great day. Big thanks to our Guide Tommy for his excellent service.

Our tour guide, Zoe Wong, was excellent and proactively helped us take photos. Although there were only two attractions, each long journey between them took two hours. However, the tour bus seats were comfortable.

Zoe is an excellent tour guide, especially with time management and planning. She ensured we could leisurely explore both parks while also making sure we arrived in Tokyo smoothly, and fortunately, we didn't encounter any traffic. Although the nemophila and wisteria flowers were past their peak and not as stunning, the canola flowers, roses, and other blooms were still beautiful.

The Hitachi Seaside Park and Ashikaga park are both very nice. However, i think the time is too rushing for both that me and mum were very stressed. The Hitachi Seaside park should be a one day trip instead as it is a very big park, taking the bus for one round the park needs about min 50min without getting off. Whereas the Ashikaga park we got to see beautiful wisteria, as it is very crowded so will need at least 3 hours in order to enjoy. It is better to split the two parks into two trips itinerary. Overall, our tour guide Dana is a very responsible and friend tour guide, she was contactable when we were a bit lost in the park and she waited for us at the exit area before going to the car park. we see she has a strong passion in her job.
