Shirakawa-go, Takayama and Gujo Hachiman Day Tour from Nagoya

I had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our guide, Harim, was very patient, considerate, and attentive. The tour was well-organized, and we received an email invitation to a group chat the day before, making communication easy. Harim shared interesting insights and brief historical explanations at each destination. She always reminded us of the time to return to the bus and even provided recommendations on where to eat and what to visit. A lovely bonus was having Gujo Hachiman as our final stop instead of a service center. We got to see the huge koi fish swimming in the canals, which was a memorable experience! Since the destinations are quite far apart, Harim also thoughtfully let us know when we could catch up on sleep during the bus ride. Our driver was excellent as well, making the journey comfortable. I had an amazing experience on this tour! Our tour guide, Ricky, was the best—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. As a solo traveler, I never felt left out and always felt included throughout the trip. Shirakawa-go is absolutely breathtaking. Photos simply can’t capture how beautiful it is in person. Takayama was equally memorable—I loved trying the delicious Hida beef, sampling different kinds of sake, and wandering through the charming streets of the old town. Every stop had something unique to offer. The transportation was also very comfortable, making the long journey relaxing. After experiencing the tour, I can definitely see why they said doing it yourself would be more expensive, more tiring, and less convenient. Visiting three remarkable destinations in a single day made this tour an incredible value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan!

An acquaintance in Japan recommended this tour, so I stumbled upon it and ended up joining on short notice right before my trip. I was worried at first because it was rainy, but it turned out to be a truly satisfying tour. Shirakawago and Takayama were great, but personally, Gujo Hachiman, which we visited last, left a particularly deep impression. Rather than a flashy tourist spot, it retains a quiet, cozy, old Japanese atmosphere, making it great for a leisurely stroll and taking pictures. Guide Lee Young-min kindly took care of everything from meeting up to transportation and schedule guidance, so it was nice to comfortably tour multiple areas in a single day. In particular, at Gujo Hachiman at the end, I wandered around slowly by myself for a bit and took photos, and it was the most relaxing and memorable time of this trip! The atmosphere seems like it would be completely different in another season, so I would love to join again in the winter. Thank you so much for creating such wonderful memories.

The three of us signed up together as friends, and it was a truly satisfying tour. Instead of having a dedicated lunch break, we saved that time to leisurely explore even more places, and all the snacks the guide recommended along the way were delicious, making it so much fun. It was great to comfortably tour key attractions, from the serene streets of Takayama to the picture-esque traditional village of Shirakawa-go and Gujo Hachiman, which was wonderful to walk through while listening to the sound of flowing water. Traveling to Nagoya with my family, there was one day where we didn't have any specific tourist spots in mind. Surprisingly, the night before, I was able to book a one-day tour on Klook that departed at 8 AM the next morning, even though it was already 7 PM! It was absolutely fantastic! We visited three attractions in one day, and although lunch wasn't included, I felt it was excellent value for money. I'm also grateful the weather was beautiful. Shirakawa-go is definitely worth visiting; even without snow, the lush green scenery in summer was stunning! Takayama also had its charm; we enjoyed Hida beef ramen, explored shops, and had coffee – very chill! Gujo Hachiman's streets and water bridges were quaint, but it would have been better if this part of the itinerary could have been shortened to allow more time at the previous attractions. The tour guide was average; they didn't seem to pay much attention to the group's needs and spoke Korean most of the time. Overall, it was a great trip, and I highly recommend it!

This will be the highlight of my trip. The guide, Ritsuki, is the best! I was impressed by the service he really did a great job in this trip by taking a good care of us then accomodating the tour so cheerful yet passionately whole day during this insane summer’s heat. I was a solo traveler and he even offer to take some photos of me in some spot, and the result is sooo good. I just knew this trip will highlight my first visit to Nagoya. This trip is worth every penny.

this was one of the highlights of my trip. three locations in one day. Shirakawago was stunning even during summer. Takayama considered the "little Kyoto" gave a peaceful vibe as well as the famous waterway at the Gujo Hachiman. I really enjoyed this whole day trip. It’s our first international trip and we don’t regret availing this tour package as we really enjoyed the places we’ve been to. Maxwell is very patient as he needs to speak two languages (korean english). He’s very accommodating and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the history of each places. The travel was very smooth and safe. We really appreciate his effort for dropping us by a shoe shop after the tour. Will definetly look for him again when we come back to explore more places in Japan.

We had a wonderful time on this tour package! We were a group of 9 with senior citizen. The itinerary was well-organized, and we were able to visit beautiful places all in one day. Our tour guide JO, was friendly, and helpful, making the whole experience more enjoyable and memorable. He also recommended some of the must try/eat street food on each location. We love the ice cream at the stop area. Transportation was convenient, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Our favorite part was visiting the UNESCO world heritage shirakawa go historical village and seeing the breathtaking view. Thank you for such a great experience! we highly recommend this tour.
