The way is very beautiful, the pine forest and mountains and lake! The landscape is fantastic! Iike that the cable car was not over crowded, so the round trip was really comfortable and valuable.
Ease of Booking: I booked just a few minutes before hopping on the cable car! The price was the same as what’s published on the site, no extra charges. Location: The cable car ride was about 15 minutes long (around 3km), with a max of 4 people per cabin. We got the roundtrip ticket since the destination seemed quite far and there weren’t many taxis or cars available nearby. Just made sure we were able to get to ride the cable car before the last trip @ 5pm! The views were absolutely perfect panoramic sights of Da Lat’s mountains and city skyline. A relaxing and scenic experience. Make sure to check your itinerary the cable car opens at 7-5pm only.
I rode the Da Lat Robin Hill Cable Car this time and happened to encounter intermittent light rain. I was a little worried that the view wouldn't be clear, but the service staff was very attentive and even helped to scrape the water droplets off the cable car windows, allowing us to clearly enjoy the scenery along the way. As the cable car slowly ascended, we were met with the sight of overlapping mountains, near and far, like a light and elegant landscape painting. The pine trees on the mountain were densely layered, with their tiny, fragmented leaves, looking a bit like a heap of chia seeds from a distance, which I found incredibly cute and healing. Although the weather was a bit damp and cool, it added a sense of tranquil romance to this cable car journey.
Giving this 5 stars purely because it’s great value at just under $6 AUD for return trip via cable car. Tickets purchased via Klook were cheaper than buying at the station. Sensational views during the journey, fun trip. Nothing much to do when you get there though if you aren’t into visiting a monastery.
We really enjoyed the ride. The scenery was stunning, especially at the destination with beautiful flowers, perfect for photos and videos. The views of Dalat hills and nearby villages were breathtaking, and the weather was perfect. The rate was very cheap, and instructions/queueing for tickets were easy to follow. We went early at 8 AM, when there were few visitors, which made it very convenient. The only downsides were the lack of official photos (the system wasn’t responding) and expensive souvenirs. Overall, it was a memorable and highly enjoyable experience, and we would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Dalat.
The cable car ride was smooth and offered breathtaking views of Da Lat’s mountains, forests, and valleys. It’s also a convenient way to reach Truc Lam Monastery, so you can visit both in one trip. However, keep in mind that it closes every Thursday afternoon for maintenance. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!
Beautiful place and amazing views. Dont have to share cable car with other guests, we were a group of 6 and were put into 2 cable cars. If you intend to go into the temple, ensure you are dressed modestly and take off your shoes. Plenty of Instagrammable spots. experience: 9/10 service: 9/10 facilities: 8/10. Toilets can be better. ease of booking on Klook: 10/10 price: 10/10
thoroughly smooth and very well maintained cable car stations and the Monastery. wished the souvenir shops were a little more interesting and more shops. drinks were hit n miss. good to spend about 3 hours here to soak in the peacefulness and the lake view.
