The village is surrounded by green rice fields, valleys and hills and this lets you fully indulge in the natural beauty of Vietnamese countryside. Reviews
The travel time is long due to the distance, but the scenery is beautiful, so it's okay. The first rest stop also has good views, but the second rest stop has the best views. After arriving in Mai Chau, the lunch is excellent. It was delicious. The scenery is very beautiful when cycling for about 2 hours. A suggestion would be to stop at a pretty cafe in the middle of the ride. Overall, very satisfied for the price.
Informative guide. Comfortable ride with two stops and the bus was on time for pick up. Lunch had enough options for vegetarians and vegans. I would recommend staying a night. I found it a short stay to admire the whole village.
We had a nice short 1-day trip. Cycling next to rice field, our tour guide Dong explained the culture of ethnic Thai people, agriculture, hunting & other livelihood. The food was good and fresh. The toilets, dining area and in general everything was clean.
7:20~12:00 There are two breaks on the way there. One for the toilet and one for Mai Chau View. Travel time is about 4 hours. After that, we have lunch. The local food is delicious. 12:40~15:30 Cycling. I enjoyed it quite a bit. 15:30~19:15 Returning, we were dropped off near Hanoi Station.
The tour guide is very good. Although the drive is a bit long, the scenery is beautiful. It is recommended to stay in the resort for 2 days.
It was a 3 hour drive from Hanoi Old Quarter, with two breaks along the way, and then we cycled for about 2 hours after lunch. The car was about 15 minutes late when we met up, but other than that there were no particular issues and it was very good. The guide had good English pronunciation and was easy to understand.
It's a great trip into the mountain towns and rice fields. I feel the stops could have been more interesting such as a cute temple I saw on the way. The bike tour was OK. But wrong sort of bikes for the terrain. Mountain bikes would be better. Overall good value for money but only myself and a few others on the tour so a nice small group. Lunch was very good at a local home stay.
It's already been 3 years. A day in the secluded countryside of Mai Chau was able to fully feel the atmosphere of a Vietnamese village. From pickup in front of the hotel to arrival and all parts of the program were good.
Is a city similar to Sapa Going during the new year is quite cool. If other seasons are probably hot But not worth seeing, see this section The only activities available are cycling, which the leg can not ride, while other tour groups can ride a golf cart to see the city. If going alone, have to pay 300k extra. Pickle. Poor. This cute guide is very attentive.
Enjoy the bicycle riding through the ethnic tribe village . My family enjoy it tremendously.
