- About the flowering period: The apricot blossoms in southern Xinjiang bloom 10 days earlier than those in northern Xinjiang. The flowering period of apricot blossoms in Pamir is short, with a peak bloom of about 5-7 days. The flowering period fluctuates slightly each year, generally between March 20th and April 10th. When the apricot blossoms on the Pamir Plateau are in full bloom, the apricot blossom village is like a fairyland. The century-old apricot trees cover the sky, and a gentle breeze blows, with apricot petals falling and emitting a faint floral fragrance that is refreshing and memorable. The apricot blossoms are mainly concentrated in: Datong Township, Tar Township, Kuzu, Kuksheluk, etc. Datong Township has the lowest altitude, so the temperature is higher, and the flowers bloom the earliest. Xinghua Island on Happiness Bridge No. 5, Alemalek Village, and Kuksheluk will be later. You can see the apricot blossoms in Taxkorgan during this time;
- About the time difference: Xinjiang is 2 hours behind the mainland. You need to adapt to the lifestyle habits. Lunch time is 14:00-15:00, and dark time is 21:30-22:00. Hotel breakfast is generally served at 8:30, lunch time is 13:00---14:30, and dinner: around 19:30----20:30.
- About the climate: The temperature difference between day and night in Xinjiang is very large. The continental semi-arid climate is the typical climate of Xinjiang. It is typically "hot during the day and cold at night." - About network tips: Xinjiang has 4G-5G network, but the signal is poor in remote areas, and Xinjiang's network security is more important. You cannot log in to foreign websites;
- About border defense permits: Xinjiang is located in the western border of my country. Tashkurgan in southern Xinjiang, the westernmost part of China, and Muji Volcano need border defense permits. There are two ways to apply for a border defense permit. One is to apply locally after arriving in Xinjiang (you can apply directly in the airport hall after arriving in Kashgar).
