amazing! all the instructors were helpful and the instructions were clear. the staff were there to help you every step of the way. Please believe them when they tell you the wood is hard to carve they say that for your benefit not theirs lol I got the Purple Heart wood and I was sweating!! great time!
I really enjoyed the chopsticks making class. There was a lady who was trying her best to help me, but I was the only solo person among many bigger groups, it was hard for her to spend time with me.
Organization: We found the studio very easily and were welcomed right away, even though we were nearly 20 minutes early. Activity: Initially, the different types of wood are explained, and then you can choose your preferred wood type (at least with our package, and possibly with an extra charge depending on the wood type). Our guide then explained each step to us, and we were able to make the chopsticks very easily without much difficulty. The steps weren't hard either. Our guide checked our chopsticks after each step and provided feedback (e.g., during the sanding process, whether to continue sanding or if it was good). I would recommend this to everyone. Even children could take this class.
Super workshop, it was a lot of fun. The workshop leaders were all very kind and extremely helpful.
An experience you absolutely must do when you are in Tokyo, very fun and very kind staff.
