The biggest win was skipping the massive line. We showed our Klook QR code at the reserved entrance and were inside within 5 minutes, while the regular queue stretched down the street. For a busy summer trip, that alone was worth booking ahead. The gallery itself is world-class. Seeing Botticelli’s Primavera and Birth of Venus up close was a highlight, and the rooms with Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Caravaggio are stunning. We added the audio guide via the Klook app and it made a big difference - without it you’d just be looking at paintings without much context. The collection is well laid out chronologically, so you can actually follow the evolution of Renaissance art. It gets extremely crowded, especially between 11am-2pm. Some of the smaller rooms were stuffy and it was hard to spend time with the art. Book the earliest morning slot on Klook if you can, and go straight to Botticelli first before the crowds. Just manage your expectations on crowds and you’ll love it.
The e-voucher provided by the Klook platform cannot be used directly. You must follow the detailed instructions at the bottom of the voucher. At the designated time (usually 15 minutes before your reserved visit time), go to the ticket vendor's designated location (for us, it was under the Donatello statue outside the Uffizi Gallery) to collect a physical ticket from a staff member and scan a QR code to download the audio guide. We recommend downloading the "POPGuide" audio guide app in advance while you have Wi-Fi access, as many audio guides for Florence and Rome use this app. Downloading it early can reduce your waiting time before ticket validation.
Booking this ticket is well worth it. In addition to being able to enter quickly, the audio guide is also very good. It just takes a little time to figure out the marked locations on the guide.
get phycical ticket from seller before get in at meeting point. very easy. very good
I had an 8:30 reservation and was asked to arrive 15 minutes early, but the staff didn't show up until 8:22! You have to download the audio guide app beforehand, and while there's a Chinese version, it's not very user-friendly and isn't updated to the latest information. Renting an audio guide on-site only costs 6 euros and would likely be much better.
A must-visit if you go to Florence.
Entry was quick, and the route was very clear and easy to follow.
