After all passengers have gathered, we will leave the city's light pollution and head to the Icelandic countryside to welcome this mysterious natural wonder. The journey may pass by the Reykjavik Aurora Center, but we will not visit it! Unlike other tour groups, our itinerary does not have a fixed route. After departing from Reykjavik, we will drive for no more than 90 minutes to find the best place to view the Northern Lights. Before departure, the guide will choose the best viewing location based on the day's aurora forecast and weather cloud map. Along the way, the guide will explain stories and knowledge about the Northern Lights and Iceland. When we arrive at what we consider to be the most suitable location, while waiting for the Northern Lights, the guide will also provide shooting advice to help you capture the beautiful aurora moments with the best camera settings. Chasing the Northern Lights requires patience and may involve waiting for a while on a cold night. The guide will provide free hot chocolate and snacks to keep you warm while you wait. We hope to see the aurora on the first stop, but if natural conditions do not cooperate, we may go to other places to continue searching, and will do our best to realize your aurora dream. Although we have aurora and weather forecasts, and the guides are very professional, the Northern Lights are, after all, a natural phenomenon, and may occasionally be missed. If you fail to see the Northern Lights during the trip, we will provide you with a free re-trip opportunity! Your guide will tell you how to rebook. The re-trip discount is valid for three years from your original departure date. After the night is over, we will take you back to the same location in Reykjavik where you were picked up.
