Reviews summaryTour took time but It is so worht and wonderful experiences.Black beach is so beautiful and have route as tiny hiking .I love it. Wave of sea is so strong, always be careful when take a photo ,therefore is harmless.
The tour operator will ask you to gather at bus no 12, just opposite to Storm hotel, when bus comes, the guide will call the name one by one based upon first book first serve, well arranged and perfect time management. Our guide Petra did a great job, talked much about everything related to the Iceland and the scenery, including history, background and story, and allowing enough time for visiting each spot. She also introduced nice restaurant , things to do after the tour if still staying downtown.
Great value day tour with a comprehensive itinerary that allows us to experience most of the sights in the Snaefellnes Peninsula, which was magical, rain or shine. Our guide, Lily was great and filled our time on the road with many interesting mini sagas and nuggets of info on Reykjavik and Icelandic culture and way of life. We had lucky sightings of arctic fox pups, saw seals floating close to the beach and enjoyed nice 🌞 weather at the beaches. They'll pick you up in a big bus at Bus Stop 12 if you didn't arrange hotel pick up and transfer you to your respective tour vehicles, and you will return around 830pm or so. Plenty of restroom and cafe stops, comfy bus for the journey (though ours was a little dated). Just be prepared for a whole day outdoors!
loved the tour..: walk and small hikes around the peninsula was spectacular..….due to some construction work going we couldn’t do the beach but was offered a hike to volcano which was a bonus point… our tour guide prela and driver Albert was nice . kept us safe and engaged with Iceland stories throughout the tour.
Visited during Feb 25, with BusTravel Iceland. Ritchie was our guide and he was amazing, charismatic and very knowledgeable. The tour is very long but you get to visit sooo many spectacular places and Ritchie told us all the great spots for pictures and even gave us food recommendations and camera setting recommendations. The best! A++++
We booked the Snæfellsness Peninsula Full Day Tour with Pickup from our hotel. Bus Travel Iceland was the operater with Alain as our guide. After picking us up, we were then transferred to a bigger bus with more tourists. That day it snowed, so most of the places we visited were covered in snow. It was a long day, we arrived back to hotel at about 8pm.
I had an amazing trip with such a well-organized tour. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured everyone had a great experience, while the driver was skilled and made the journey smooth and comfortable. Everything was perfectly planned, and I felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Highly recommend their services for a hassle-free and enjoyable travel experience!
Must go! Went in late November Saw so many spots and the scenery was breathtaking. Tour guide was amazing to bring us to so many places, tour lasted from 9am (depart Reykjavik - 8pm (arrive back at Reykjavik). So much more pictures to share but can only share 6.
the tour guide Matt was very energetic and told us a lot of facts and stories about Iceland. Always told us where to take the best photo. The driver Mario is super. We had a really good time. Itineary is a hit tide but the Matt and Mario took really good control on timing so we weee able to get back in town within the expected time. The wait for transfer took a little long. we waited 20 mins in the cold. Our overall experience was great!
The experience of watching the seals was truly memorable, albeit a challenging journey. The path was arduous, and the weather did not meet our expectations. However, each leg of the journey provided a distinct experience, bringing immense joy and satisfaction.
