my mom and I came here to get something to bring home as a souvenir that we could use and show off, and we did not regret it! the instructor Laura was very involved and patient with us, as it could be intimidating to deal with new equipment and we had to be careful to not break our rings in the process. I got a vintage coin from the Taisho era and it was a nice reminder of Japan. my mom got a vintage Singaporean coin from the 70s as it was nostalgic for her. both turned out comfortable and beautiful, we can't wait to show them off to our friends and family!
There are a variety of options provided as upgrades if you want, so just be prepared for that. using a Japanese coin is an upgrade but there are a variety of country’s coins to choose from. Some coins are better suited for larger ring sizes. I choose the non-upgraded version and was still very happy with the outcome. My facilitator hector was very pleasant and made the experience fun.
Children found it very interesting to choose coins from their favorite countries, make rings that fit their size, and repeatedly practice punching holes, heating, cooling, grinding, and polishing the coins.
My fiancée and I wanted a special souvenir to bring back home and this was definitely it! The whole process was smooth and explained in a way easy to understand. Hector was our instructor and he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! I definitely recommend coming here!
Although we arrived 20 minutes late (we got lost a couple of times), they still accommodated us. We were given a thorough explanation about the Japanese coin eras, as we paid extra to have those made. Our Ringsmith Chanel was attentive and answered our questions with great confidence. She seems to know a great deal. Overall, we enjoyed our time, had fun making our rings and would definitely recommend this activity to others!
it was a very pleasant and nice experience. Aika helped me all the way through every single step. the rings are beautiful and everything is very clear about the process of the workshops. they’re very safe and the place feels really welcoming. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you out. I’m so glad I did this experience 100/10
It was a wonderful experience. The instructor was very thoughtful and thorough and the entire crew is most definitely on the same page since every experience is guided and unique. There are many options of coins to choose from that are already included in the reservation. Be mindful that for Japanese coins you are going to be using old coins, since the government forbids using currency. That also means that there are additional fees for using those coins since they are antiques. Our rings turned out great! I highly recommend the experience.
Great experience! Yumi was my guide, and she explained the process very well. Such a cool way to spend an afternoon in Asakusa and you go home with a beautiful memento after. :)
My wife and I made another pair of wedding rings here during our honeymoon. The staff are extremely friendly and guide customers through every step of the ring-making process. We will definitely come back to have more rings made on our next trip to Japan! What we also really like, of course, is that the young people looking after the customers appear to be students. It made us very happy to see that.
We had an amazing experience at Enne Ring Workshop! From start to finish, everything was well organized, fun, and beginner-friendly. A special shoutout to Shauna, who was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire workshop. She guided us through every step, making the process enjoyable and ensuring our rings turned out beautifully. We each created a unique sterling silver ring that we’ll cherish for years to come. It’s not just a piece of jewelry—it’s a meaningful souvenir and a wonderful conversation starter because we made it ourselves. If you’re looking for a memorable, hands-on experience in Tokyo, I highly recommend Enne Ring Workshop. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
