- One of Japan's six ancient kilns. Let's make Bizen ware (fire 1 piece)
- The basic price is 350g of soil, and you can make one of the following: a cup, small bowl, teacup, or small plate (12cm in diameter) *Additional 150g of soil can be selected as an option! With a total of 500g, you can make one of a beer mug, coffee cup, rice bowl, or medium plate (15cm in diameter).
- Uses secret soil that has been aged for 40 years! Soft and easy to mold!
What to expect
Gallery Wakamiya is located in Ushimado, Setouchi City, known as the Aegean Sea of Japan. This is a workshop where you can experience making Bizen ware clay and exhibit works directly managed by Bizen ware artists. We are also producing young artists, and new works are being created every day for customers who come to experience them. Experience authentic Bizen ware under the guidance of a venerable potter who is certified as a traditional craftsman.
