Skogafoss is one of Iceland’s most spectacular waterfalls, with water cascading down from high cliffs with majestic force. In the sunlight, rainbows can often be seen spanning the mist, creating an unforgettable and breathtaking sight. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is one of Iceland’s natural treasures. Formed by the Breiðarmerkurjökull glacier, the lagoon is filled with floating blue icebergs, some featuring brown stripes originating from volcanic ash deposits from eruptions decades ago. Diamond Beach features icebergs that break off from the glacier, float into the lagoon, and are ultimately washed ashore. The ice chunks are scattered across the black sand like gems, creating a striking visual contrast. On clear days, we will make a brief stop at Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon, providing an excellent photo opportunity. Vík í Mýrdal is Iceland’s southernmost village. Although it has a population of only 300, its surroundings are full of natural wonders. Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, fed by meltwater from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Plunging 60 meters down a cliff, visitors can, under suitable conditions, walk behind the waterfall to enjoy an intimate experience and capture magnificent panoramic views.
