nice places to visit but not good experience in transferring to the location as we were waiting for another person who are late. overall, good.
Thansk to hospitality from tour guide 晶晶. She is very kind and helpful to all participants. Highly recommended.
Good tour if you are short on time and want to quickly visit both places with transport and a guide then this tour is for you. 4 stars as picked up 20mins late (common with join in tours) but not advised (a quick message would be great if running late) then time cut short at Long Neck Village but still enough time to look around, take photos, buy items. Wat Pha Lat is very beautiful. Spent most of the tour time here and it was so good for photos and to just explore. Pretty good value all round.
The temple was one of the most unique and beautiful I've ever seen. The Karen Long Neck village was lovely as well. Unfortunately our guide whilst his English was great was also rather disinterested and mostly left us to do our own wandering. I would have definitely liked more information and guidance.
I had been waiting in the hotel lobby since 8 o'clock, but no one came to pick me up, so I waited for about 50 minutes. I was worried that the sightseeing time would be short, but there was plenty of time. Wat Parat was amazing and very worth seeing. It was more like looking at souvenirs than seeing how the chieftains lived.
They contacted us in advance that we were the only ones at the date and time we had reserved, so we shifted one day and participated. It was a half-day tour, but I was able to spend a lot of time shopping (because it would be a donation) and taking pictures at the village of the long neck tribe. Wat Palat was the temple I wanted to visit the most, so I'm glad you gave me a detailed explanation. On the way back, I was grateful that each of the three groups sent us to the lunch place they wanted to go to.
Long journey. But worth to join the trip especially for people who first time visit Chiang Mai. To understand the culture there. Simple yet memorable half day trip.
We enjoyed the whole trip with small group and knowledgeable tour guide Mr Q. We had sufficient time to visit the hidden temple as well as the long neck hill tribe village. Thanks
The ChengFu tea plantation is a very charming place, unlike anything in our everyday life. I was fascinated by the hill tribe way of life, especially at the 5 hill tribes. They're very kind to us, the communal living the front of their houses were opened as shops, showcasing an organic and pure lifestyle. Shooting crossbow was a lot of fun! Rice farming season spans from July to September, so I was disappointed to miss out on farming with the hill tribes. I hope to return in the winter the guide said, there will be strawberries as well. Pha Lat temple is very natural and serene. There weren't many people, likely because it was during a festival, making it even quieter and more peaceful.
