The ferry ride felt like a mini cruise! I'm impressed by the thoughtful facilities on board, including kids play area, gaming room, massage chairs, cafes and restaurant with good views. I enjoyed a simple meal at 7-Eleven with microwave and hot water facilities, and a seat with beautiful view of the sea.
The ship is large, clean, and very well-equipped. The interior decoration is beautiful, like a hotel. There are restaurants and famous bakeries available on board. The journey from Mokpo to Jeju takes about 4 and a half hours, which is very worthwhile. The views are beautiful, and the ship is very stable. Highly recommended for those who want a change of travel atmosphere.
It's never boring! Walking around, eating snacks, singing songs, and before you know it, you'll be in Jeju.
We were on the Queen Jenuvia 2 ferry, everything went great but here are some important notes: 1. Carefully check which terminal (they are different from the Queen Jenuvia) 2. Be sure to arrive early, we had difficulties because instead of a ticket there was just a QR code, so check-in took some time 3. The ferry is comfortable, there is a cafe (you can pay in cash), there is a dining room (but payment there is by card through a terminal), there is a shop, the scenic massage chairs are quickly taken😅, in general, since the ferry departs in the morning, we didn't even use the cabin, because it was interesting to just watch out the window and walk around the deck
The staff was friendly and helpfull. I had an economy ‘seat’ it means you share a room with more people so make shure you board early/in time for a place to sleep. I slept the whole way to Jeju so that was good.
The 16:45 Jeju to Mokpo ferry departs from Pier 7. You need to exchange your ticket at the counter first, and boarding begins at 16:15. Use the foreigner's lane to verify your passport.
if you are living in mokpo and departure time is 4:40pm, it's a good deal. but if you live in Asan o seoul and your departure time is 4:40pm not recommendable because of limited train.
It was clean, lots of area to sit and watch the passage, lots of food and beverage variety, found it to be very calming and quite
Comfortable ferry. Some cafes and shops only accept cash. Also, Klook has the wrong boarding address for the ferry in Jeju. Check-in and boarding for the ferry are at 111 Imhang-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, 63276, South Korea (in Korean: 제주특별자치도 제주시 임항로 111).
you can take bus from mokpo station or walk
