Da Nang Phin Coffee Class With Egg, Salt & Coconut Styles

I took this wonderful Vietnamese coffee workshop with Hubb. Our instructor Hubb is humorous and lively. We learned to make four kinds of coffee: black phin coffee, coconut coffee, egg coffee and salt coffee. Besides hands-on brewing, he also shared lots of interesting Vietnamese coffee culture with us. It was a fantastic hands-on experience, totally worth joining!

i learned about the history of coffee, the background of each recipe, and had a great time tasting coffee all within 1.5hrs. High Energy is a thoughtful instructor. she assisted me when I had a hard time making the coffee froth. she also shared techniques which we could easily replicate at home. this is a must experience for the coffee lovers or those who would like to taste the famouse vietnamese coffee recipes.

Hands down one of the best highlights of our trip to Vietnam! The Phin Coffee Class was super engaging, informative, and fun. Our instructor, "High Energy," was absolute perfection living up to the name and making the entire class so dynamic and entertaining! We learned how to brew delicious, authentic Vietnamese coffee step-by-step. A 10/10 must-do experience for anyone traveling to Vietnam! ☕️

Each drink originates from a different region across Vietnam. While hands‑on preparing the drinks, we also learned about the local coffee culture and fascinating history behind each recipe. It’s not just making coffee, but a lovely cultural journey. Lana has been a very good instructor. Even giving us tips not just for coffee making. We booked an 8am class so it was just us and felt like an exclusive class for us. Everything tasted so good we hope to make it at home too.

It was a last minute booking because of the weather. I thought there will be a lot of students/guest who wants to join but it end up to be only two of us. I did had fun and learned a lot. Our instructor Hubb is knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Vietnamese coffee and culture.

Really enjoyed my experience with Ms High Energy 😊 Although there's only 3 of us, she managed to make it entertaining, educational, and fun at the same time! This is the highlight of my first day here in Da Nang. Highly recommend her class to anyone ❤️

Highly recommend this Vietnamese drip coffee making class! We handcrafted four specialty coffees: salt coffee, egg coffee, black coffee, and coconut coffee. Instructor Hai was very dedicated and detailed, patiently explaining the brewing principles and techniques step-by-step while introducing us to Vietnamese coffee culture. The class was relaxed and fun. Brewing and mixing it ourselves yielded surprisingly delicious results. This is a must-try activity in Da Nang, and we left with a wealth of knowledge and great memories!

Booked this coffee class through Klook, and got lucky since there were only us two students, so it felt very personal. Our instructor, High Energy, was incredibly warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. She taught us how to make four different Vietnamese coffees while sharing the history and story behind each recipe, along with the ingredients that make them unique. We also received copies of all the recipes at the end, which was a nice touch. The class took about 1 to 1.5 hours and was a lot of fun. They also have a shop where you can buy phins, coffee beans, and other coffee merchandise. I was looking for a phin and was happy to find one there. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting Da Nang.
