Fukuoka Aso Takachiho Gorge Day Tour (including boat ride experience)

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our guide, Miss Nicole Yang, was very friendly and accommodating throughout the trip. The boat ride at Takachiho Gorge was a highlight—we really enjoyed seeing the waterfall up close. Tsukimawari Park had breathtaking mountain views and even some cherry blossoms, which made it extra special. At Kusasenri Park, we loved relaxing in the open fields while enjoying coffee and matcha. Overall, a great and memorable experience—highly recommended! 🌿

What a lucky day! I was fortunate enough to be in Daisy Wu's tour group 😝. She gave us so many great recommendations and helpful tips 🙌! Plus, she shared a lot of new knowledge!! My intellect increased by 100 😛😛. Mr. Yamane is an excellent driver 🫡, and he was full of energy, immediately showing off his eight languages. So impressive 👏!! The weather was amazing too, so lucky!!! Was Very Lucky to meet Daisy today!! She gave us a lot of tips and prepared a very detailed pdf for us!😊 Learned a lot about the local culture! You can see she put a lot of heart into the planning. Mr. Yamane drove the bus really well and he is always full of energy!!⚡️⚡️ You have to go on this trip to hear him speak languages from all over the world, it's very impressive!!

we had a wonderful trip thanks to our Guide Eiichi. Eiichi was great at organizing the group and providing interesting facts along the way. Our trip took an unexpected turn as an earthquake hit the area we were in. Even though it was an extremely rare and unknown situation, Eiichi and the bus driver did everything too get us home safely including navigation through many broken and closed roads. They truly wanted us to be safe and took care of the group while staying calm and with a smile on their faces during the 16 hour long day.

Jimmy is a fantastic guide! He's efficient, organized, and provides detailed local tips, like how to avoid lines at Kusasenri Restaurant and the best angles for photographing Mount Aso. He also made excellent arrangements for Takachiho Gorge! Highly recommend! Highly recommend! Highly recommend!

Even though I felt we spent a little too long at Kusasenri, which cut into the time for the later parts of the itinerary, the overall flow was still smooth. It's very convenient to visit both attractions in one day.

Our tour guide Jimmy was great! Funny dude and he is very knowledgeable about the places that we went. I definitely recommend this tour and Jimmy as your guide if you're in Fukuoka! He has very good time management and cares for the tourist! Next time if I come back to Fukuoka, would definitely go and book his tour.

Daisy is so considerate. Although we didn't get to see Mount Aso in the end, the itinerary was changed to Takachiho Shrine. If you're only staying in Fukuoka for a short time and don't want to drive yourself, you can join this tour.

Thanks to Coco, our guide, it was the best tour ever. We were lucky with perfect weather, and the boat ride was an unforgettable experience. You absolutely have to try the Akagyu (red beef) yakiniku at the Kumamoto rest stop restaurant.
