What to expect
Lake Toya is surrounded by mountains and volcanic landscapes. The lake surface is vast and calm, with the verdant Nakajima Island in the center. Mount Usu and Showa Shinzan can be seen in the distance, making it a well-known natural scenic spot in Hokkaido.
This activity is a stand-up paddleboarding experience on the lake. In the summer, you can feel the breeze and enjoy the open scenery, admiring Nakajima Island and the surrounding mountains from different angles. Ride on a paddleboard, glide on the tranquil lake surface, listen to the birds singing and the sound of the water, and explore places you can't normally reach.
The activity area is located in a calm part of the lake, providing a safe environment suitable for beginners. Throughout the tour, a guide will provide explanations and guidance, so even first-timers can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.
