Tsingtao Beer Museum

The famous Qingdao Beer Museum was incredibly crowded, but thanks to our advance reservation, we were able to go straight to the entrance, show our tickets, and get in. The product information stated the meeting point was the 'Tourist Center Ticket Plaza,' but I didn't know where that was, and there were too many people to use the multilingual audio guide. I thought it would be a location inside the museum, but it was hard to find. Despite that minor disappointment, we enjoyed exploring the facilities and savored the honey peanuts and two glasses of beer per person. The gift shop was quite large, and many people were buying beer, but you can purchase the original beer at the airport duty-free shop for the same price, so there's no need to carry it around beforehand. The honey-flavored peanuts are truly delicious! You can also find these at the duty-free shop. We also used the unlimited beer included in the package, and I went to the 1903 LAB. You can start using it from 4:30 PM, and the interior was clean, the staff were friendly, so we had a great time enjoying delicious snacks and drinks. You just show your QR code in advance and keep asking for refills. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance!

Exploring the Tsingtao Brewery Museum in Qingdao is a bit like a pilgrimage for beer lovers. It’s not just a factory tour; it’s a dive into a blend of German colonial history and Chinese industrial pride.

Even though there were a lot of people because it was Labor Day, our guide took pictures for us and provided explanations, making it a very fulfilling experience.

I had a great time with my family in Qingdao ^^ As expected of a popular attraction in Qingdao, there were many tourists. I also had two glasses of beer as samples, and they were refreshingly delicious. There were many merchandise items, and I spent my time in a daze.

Upon purchase of the tickers, waited for 1 day to receive the confirmation. No tickets redemption required, entrance with individual passport. Overall smooth, great visits in the museum and received 2 drinks as per mentioned.

Took the English tour, was only 3 of us and one guide. Take note to go to the 1903 wheat fragrance coffee shop which is also at the entrance area instead of the entrance itself (where you might see many people queing). interesting tour to see the origination, brewing process to its global presence. you get 2 beers during the tour, for the all you can drink, just go to the participating outlets with your voucher QR code.

If you buy your tickets in advance, entry is very smooth. If you try to buy tickets there, the line can be quite long. However, the museum itself doesn't have Korean explanations or guides, so it's harder to enjoy than expected. You can get a sense of the brewing process, but I wasn't sure what made their technology so special compared to other beer factories. Nevertheless, it's nice that you can sample fresh draft beer brewed that day and see beautiful architecture and 100-year-old facilities.
