Pyeongchang Trout Festival Full-Day Guided Fishing Tour

It was the best decision that I'd made for this trip. 😍😍 Our guide, Joe Park was so kind and patient while guiding us the direction to the meeting point. Luckily, we made it just in time. The fishing experience was one of a kind since we never did it before. We had fun at all the attraction too. So glad we booked this trip to Pyeongchang.

I have always wanted to participate in the fishing activities of the Trout Festival. I ordered it immediately when I saw the itinerary. When I saw other people’s comments, I was actually afraid that I would not have fun or the leader would be unprofessional. I didn’t expect it... I was very lucky. I met the handsome team leader Asa. He served everyone very considerately, and also introduced some Korean history, and also explained what the itinerary was. During the ice fishing period, I was worried that we would not be able to catch fish or eat, so he helped us follow The other 오빠 ordered fish to eat, each one was very fat, and then he took us to cook the fish. We were very happy to eat, especially the sashimi was super delicious😋! ! Thank you Asa오빠 for your service, we had a great time😃

It was super fun to go ice fishing in Korea for the first time. Although our skills were poor and we couldn’t catch fish, the locals were kind enough to teach us and the tour guide was also very enthusiastic to help. Although there was no meal included at noon, the tour guide would recommend nearby restaurants, but the ice fishing scene There are also a lot of snacks you can buy, and there is grilled fish after fishing, which is super delicious! You must eat it!! There are also many other activities to experience on site. I really recommend that everyone must experience it once in their lifetime, super recommended! Due to the weather, the venue decided to postpone the opening date. Since we couldn't change our plane tickets, our trip was upgraded to "Ice Snow Kingdom x Nami Island." Connor *oppa* was very attentive. At the beginning of the bus ride, everyone was tired, so he let us sleep for a bit before explaining today's itinerary. He gave us seaweed samples on the bus, and there was no pressure to buy anything. We really liked it, so we bought some souvenirs to take back to Taiwan. He played music 10 minutes before we got off the bus so we could get ready in advance. Since we had children with us, he was also concerned about us and checked to see if we were keeping up. Honestly, I really like this travel agency (S.A. Tour). Every time I bring my family to Korea, I join your tours.

Super fun ice fishing experience!! I highly recommend that you must experience it once in your life. The tour guide this time was very professional, unlike other tour guides who seemed to be college students working part-time. The Korean tour guide introduced a lot of Korean culture and helped with fishing. Finally, we gave the fish we caught to us. We could pay to grill it and eat it on the spot. It was delicious! In addition to fishing, there are many experience activities and some Korean snacks that can be bought on the spot. You don’t have to worry about having no place to eat. There will be a fee before departure. I sent an email to invite the group. I found the bus and tour guide very quickly that morning. I didn't have to worry about not being able to get on the bus or find the tour guide. I want to experience it again next year!!

We got a little lost that morning and it took us 5 minutes to arrive. The tour guide Asa waited patiently at the scene and found us quickly! Then guide us to get on the bus and join the one-day tour group. After getting on the bus, the tour guide Asa will introduce the scenery outside the window and the characteristics of the destination. The explanation is very interesting and great! It also provides pictures and videos for everyone to watch, so that everyone can better understand Seoul, and some travel information is also provided for your reference. During lunch, the tour guide Asa will serve everyone everywhere and make sure that everyone has started eating smoothly. Then he and the driver will start eating by himself. After arriving at the destination, the tour guide Asa will also allocate time and suggestions for everyone. When we arrive at the drop-off point on the return trip, we will also help explain the subway direction and transfer methods, which is really considerate! I hope I will have the opportunity to join tour guide Asa’s group next time!

Tour guide Asa introduced and explained the precautions for ice fishing very seriously. He first took everyone to taste the traditional food of Gangwon Province, and then took everyone to Pyeongchang Ice Fishing Ground for trout fishing + snow field amusement park facilities. Today was a great harvest, and we tasted delicious trout. Share it with local tourists and group members. The snow resort activities are exciting and joyful. I have always wanted to do ice fishing. I didnt catch any but hubby did and a couple of locals gave their fish to us so we had 3 in total. There was a blizzard too so we couldn’t fish for long. They also gave us a flimsy fishing rod (look at our photos). The bus didnt take you back to Myeongdong. I didn’t realise until we got dropped off. The tour guide talks a lot, sometimes he talks too much about things that are not related or not important. It gets a bit annoying at the end.

Very convenient, take the bus and you will arrive at the fishing spot without having to transfer to another vehicle. However, the travel distance is quite long, it takes more than 6 hours to go and return. Fishing is very difficult. If you are lucky, there may be fishermen who will give you fish to eat. However, if you do not catch any fish, the trip may not be complete. Other activities are good, but there is too little time to do all the activities.

The tour guide Asa’s explanations were very detailed. The local chicken and seafood pot he arranged was delicious. Thanks to his good looks, we were able to eat delicious trout even though we didn’t catch any fish. The ice activities are diverse and fun. Highly recommended!
