Great bus transfer! Recommended! Note: bring cash with you if you plan to purchase food before boarding the bus. There are not many food stores nearby and one with credit card option. Also, they help with boarder transfer. Bus stopped twice for meal and toilet break. Overall, it was a smooth land trip from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh.
All of us passengers just gave our passports to the bus staff and he handled it properly with smooth exit from Vietnam and entry to Cambodia. The staff was the one who put in our details of the immigration form. Great job by this bus company! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ride home from Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh was very tiring, but it was acceptable because it was traffic and was raining really hard. We traveled over 8-9 hours going back 🥲 We were very hungry at the end of the trip. You should totally bring snacks just in case. We expected the ride to Ho Chi Minh will be smooth sailing and will only be up to 7 hours but so many factors, especially the weather affected everything.
Brace yourself for a very long trip. Going to Cambodia was okay but there were a lot of stops 😅 I think there were too many stops which made the ride even more stressful. The guide was very helpful and was successful in helping us navigate the immigration at the border. Still thankful we arrived safe and sound to our destination.
I recently traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh by bus, and I had a fantastic experience! The ride was smooth and comfortable, making the journey quite enjoyable. Crossing the border was seamless—there were no issues at all, and the staff made the process efficient. I appreciated how well everything was organized, allowing us to relax and take in the scenery. If you’re planning to travel between these two cities, I highly recommend this bus service for a hassle-free trip!
I took from Phnom Penh to Saigon on a regular Tuesday. Chose Phuongheng bus as the drop off is near Vien Dong, ihome is further away. Their office in Phnom Penh is between Kumho and Bridge Bank (blue logos). I reached the office around 8am, showed the counter my voucher and he printed the ticket for me. If you come early there are some stalls just outside for coffee and snacks. At 8.15am the bus came and I was guided to board. Seat is rather spacious and it can be lowered to sleeping position (but have to manually push back up). The bus left at 8.21am with only me onboard. Today there's only a lonesome me and several mosquitos on board. The attendant checked my passport, understood i am from Singapore and returned it to me. Reached Bavet Border Check Point at 12pm. The attendant told me to alight and a dude guided me to the counter. Cleared within 1 minute. Then I reboarded the bus at the front. Reached Vietnam Moc Bai Border Station few minutes later. Alighted at the entry area with all my bags and belongings and walked to the immigration hall. There are some hustlers trying to get me to pay bribe of USD10 to cross. Just ignore them. There is a queue at the Vietnam side so the bus attendant came to help and expedited my passport straight to the officer (with some dong). Skipped the queue, got stamped, scanned my bags and back straight to the bus. Left the vietnam border at 12.20pm. Guess it's time for lunch, they asked if I eat meat. We wasted no time he helped me buy a banhmi and we got on our way. Told him I need to go washroom and he stopped at a petrol kiosk. Traffic is heavy as we near HCMC. We did went pass the airport area, they may drop you here if you asked. Reached the HCMC office area at 2.30pm. They didn't drop me directly outside their office but a short walk away. Bus is old but still in good condition. Bus started to get warmer during mid day but it was still bearable as it was cloudy. The driver and attendant were also friendly enough when I asked simple questions. Overall i do recommend.

We had a fantastic journey with the mini bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. The vehicle was comfortable and well-maintained, and the driver was professional and skilled. We appreciated the punctuality and smooth border crossing process, which made our trip stress-free. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable way to travel between these two vibrant cities. Highly recommend this service!"
The route typically takes around 6-7 hours, depending on traffic and border crossing times. The bus is comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, and offer affordable fares. However, the border crossing process can be time-consuming and occasionally unpredictable, so it's advisable to bring snacks, water, and entertainment for the journey. Overall, it's a convenient and budget-friendly way to travel between these two vibrant cities, offering glimpses of the countryside along the way.
It was a nice experience, we are comfortable all through out the trip and luckily our hotel was just few steps away from the meet up point of the bus terminal going to cambodia, will definitely book again next time.
