  • The Amano Railway does not operate on the third Thursday of every month. You will not be able to experience the small train, so customers who wish to experience it should avoid this day. We are not responsible if the railway is closed due to weather or holidays. Instead, you will visit Takachiho Shrine.
  • The cherry blossom blooming dates are affected by local weather, and the most beautiful scenery cannot be guaranteed. Please check the local weather and cherry blossom blooming status before placing an order. Refunds/compensation requests due to poor cherry blossom blooming or weather factors such as rain cannot be accepted. We appreciate your understanding.

  • This itinerary does not include any tickets; participation requires self-payment.
  • On weekends and public holidays in Japan, you may encounter traffic jams, attractions closing early, and other situations during your trip. The itinerary may be reduced or shortened based on actual circumstances. It is recommended to avoid booking dinner or other activities on the same day to prevent missing the Shinkansen or your flight.
  • As this activity is a group tour, guests of other language backgrounds may be traveling with you in the same vehicle. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Weather conditions may affect the best viewing period for flowers or red leaves, and the itinerary will not be canceled or refunded for this reason.
  • Due to the large crowds during the flower viewing/maple viewing season, there is a possibility of severe traffic jams. It is recommended to bring your own light meals.
  • If the itinerary is terminated due to force majeure factors such as weather conditions or natural disasters after the trip has started, a refund will be processed for the unfulfilled itinerary based on the actual costs incurred. Review for: One Day Tour - Takachiho Gorge, Ama-no-Iwato Shrine, and Sky Train (Excluding Train Ticket)

The travelling time took quite long so be prepared to bring snacks. We have a really cheerful and helpful guide Yang who guided us clearly on where to go along the way. Would say that the time for per stop is quite limited hence have to make use of time well. Can choose to have lunch at Takachiho gorge for nanban chicken/ cutlet/water flowing noodles or the shrine area for beef noodles. Although the start time is early, you can sleep during the journey too since it takes time to reach from point to point. Overall it was considered time well spent. Just hope for a good weather and no rain! It will definitely be a lot better!!

Our tour guide, Seven, ensured our safety, initiated to take photos for us to get good shoots of the train and gave very good information for the places we were visiting. Besides being patient, she also energised us with sweets and a souvenir when we were tired after the long walk. The young driver was smiley to us too. The itinerary was well spread out to have ample time for each place. The journey from Hakata was long but it was definitely worth the journey. My cousin and I couldn’t buy the boat tickets on the actual day so make sure you include the boat tickets when you purchase the KLOOK ticket.

This was a great tour and a really relaxing way to experience some really breathtaking must-see scenery. The itinerary was well-thought out, paced well, and the service was great. I would book it again if I come back with other family members.

Absolutely value for money. The guide (Nicole Yang) was patiently explaining in Chinese and English. Your guide can either make or break your trip, she made our trip a memorable one. The itinerary is relaxing and can explore all the sites tension free.

Participating on September 28, 2025 (traveling solo) was very worthwhile and highly recommended, especially with our guide Daisy (from Xinjiang) providing accurate, word-for-word interpretations in both Chinese and English on the bus. Her English was also very fluent! It allowed us out-of-town tourists to better understand the history and culture of the attractions! I especially appreciated that Daisy had her own small microphone, so even those sitting in the back row could hear clearly during the explanations. There wasn't a single uncomfortable moment during the entire trip. Also, I'd like to mention that the Japanese driver (thin and tall) was also very kind and enthusiastic! He always made sure our safety was the top priority, whether we were crossing the street or getting off the bus! His English was good too. This is my second time joining a JRT tour in Fukuoka. Compared to the tours I took in the previous days, today's tour was truly amazing. Finally, near the shrine, a couple from our tour dropped their phone outside the railing, and Daisy immediately jumped over the railing to retrieve it without hesitation (which was very dangerous). This is very commendable!

The tour guide went to help buy train tickets in the morning and then went to the first attraction, Takachiho Gorge. Unfortunately, I didn't mention the reservation for the boating tickets, which were all sold out on the day. I stayed in Takachiho Gorge for 1.5 hours, which was plenty of time. Then I went to the second attraction, Tianan River Source Shrine, which is also a small canyon with beautiful scenery. The time and place for lunch were also well arranged. The udon noodles were delicious. Finally, I went to Takachiho Railway Station to take the sky train. In the afternoon, only our group took the train. The driver was busy spraying bubbles for everyone to take pictures. It was really fun. The whole trip was great. It is suitable for independent travelers who don't drive themselves. You can also go to Takachiho Gorge with inconvenient transportation. I highly recommend the tour guide's professional explanation. It's a great trip.

Amazing 1 day trip. Lots of travelling but the places of interest definitely made up for the time taken to travel. Tour guide Riku was helpful and make our whole experience comfortable. Recommended!
