What to expect
Canoe Type: The Canadian canoe used in the experience is a type of canoe, and basically 2 to 3 people ride in one boat and paddle with a tool called a paddle. It is relatively stable, and because it is an open deck type, it has a high loading capacity, and is characterized by leisurely touring.
Field: The experience will take place at Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes at the foot of Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site. You will have the experience while viewing Mt. Fuji. Even on days when Mt. Fuji is not visible, there are plenty of scenery and fun things to see, such as the surrounding mountains, the flowers in the park, and the uninhabited island in the heart of the lake.
Guide: The head guide has many years of experience conducting canoe tours on Lake Kawaguchi, and in addition to being a canoe guide, he is also a nature guide and mountain guide, with a wealth of knowledge and tourist information.
Safety management: We only conduct tours on days when safe weather conditions that meet our in-house safety standards can be secured. We only conduct small-group tours to ensure that we can keep an eye on each and every customer. All participants must wear a life jacket during the tour. The guide always carries a first aid kit during the tour and has completed a course in first aid.
