What to expect
Built 400 years ago, Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine represents Edo-period Fukagawa. Located within its grounds, our facility offers a unique cultural experience with Kabuki attractions and kaiseki dining.
1 Tea ceremony&Traditional Geisha Dance Enjoy a small-group tea ceremony with matcha and wagashi. A grand master performs a geisha-style dance. Includes interaction, souvenirs, and a farewell ritual.
2 Private Traditional Geisha Show&Japanese Dinner Wear kimono and enjoy sushi kaiseki with a geisha performance. Watch sushi preparation and try shamisen or samurai armor. Includes games, souvenirs, and a farewell ritual.

It was a great time. Friendly and a smaller group for a more intimate experience. Didn’t take very long and I actually appreciated that. English was very well spoken and were friendly, cheerful and put a lot of knowledge into a short demonstration. We Canadians loved the experience location:

it was def an experience, we loved it, interacted with them perfectly, they were kind and amazing. def a must!!
it is such a humbling and interesting experience. we learn alot of the matcha culture, ate hand made delicious dessert, appreciated tradition dance. everything was explained to us very thoroughly. session was interactive, we gained much more awareness and knowledge about these tradition. host speaks good English and is very very friendly. I recommend everyone to try, it is a must do in your trip to Japan. only then can you say you understand japan.
