Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Palace and Oberammergau Tour

good trip! really enjoy ourselves. highly recommended. Glad that it’s a joint English and Chinese tour group.

tour guide he brought us to Linderhof palace and neuschwantein castle. the oberamgau not enough time, didnt go in the end. overall the trip is good, nice. we bought ticket to enter neuschwantein, is beautiful.

Okay, very free, winter is really too beautiful. It's hard going uphill, but so enjoyable going downhill, much better than taking a taxi yourself. If I go again, I will definitely book a tour again!

The place was good, but we had an unforgettable experience due to the poor tour guide service we encountered. His instructions were unclear, and many customers returned late. He mentioned that one of the stops, Schloss Linderhof, was closed because of the weather, even though we had traveled almost an hour to reach it. Because of this, he asked for our group's permission to cancel the visit. If we hadn’t gone there, we could have spent more time in the village. In fact, the guide only allowed us 40 minutes in the village, and had we gone to Schloss Linderhof, we would have been late returning to downtown by at least two hours.

First of all, we were a group of 8 people, a total of 9 including the driver. The tour guide joined the group chat but never showed up, and it wasn't clear which subway exit the meeting point was near. They used a 9-seater van, but the seats were very cramped, and sitting in the middle made it impossible to move at all. It wasn't specified on the registration page, but at the end, they charged 3 euros per person for a service fee. If you're thinking of booking a tour, you might want to reconsider. But the driver was a very nice person 👍

This tour is not value for money at all. First, I am not trying to be rude, but I wasn’t sure how long our guide had been doing this job. He didn’t seem to know much information regarding the transport on the way up to Neuschwanstein, and he did not communicate clearly with us as a group, which caused confusion and made many of us feel lost. At the first stop, we left later than scheduled. Because of this delay, by the time we would reach the next part of the tour—Linderhof Palace—it would already be closed. Instead of explaining the real reason, the guide suggested that we cancel the Linderhof visit and told the group that the palace was closed due to bad weather, which was not true. This felt misleading.When we arrived to the last stop which is the Painted Village , most of the shops were already closed and you can’t really appreciate the place at all as it was already dark. Overall, this was poor planning on the guide’s part. The experience was disappointing.

I was informed that I could purchase a Neuschwanstein Castle ticket for 28 Euros on the same day, but I was unable to. It felt a bit awkward for people of other nationalities, as it seemed to cater primarily to Chinese visitors.
