We had a wonderful and well-planned private tour with Black Camel Tours. Pickup at the designated location was prompt. Our guide, Ms. Fatma, first took us to the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, followed by Khufu, where we ventured inside the Great Pyramid—an unforgettable experience, though claustrophobic and requiring some effort! We then visited the Sphinx and learned about ancient Egyptian mummification practices. Lunch at 139 Pyramids Lounge was sumptuous, with spectacular views of the pyramids. We also visited interesting papyrus and perfume exhibitions. In the afternoon, we explored the Grand Egyptian Museum, including the Boats Museum and galleries of ancient Egypt.
