What to expect
In the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zhengzhou city center. Your first stop is Kaifeng Prefecture, where you'll delve into the political, cultural, and historical changes of this ancient city. Afterward, you'll head to Bianliang Xiaosongcheng (Little Song Dynasty City), a gathering place for Kaifeng's special snacks and flavors from all over the country, allowing you to experience the unique charm of Bianliang during the Song Dynasty while enjoying delicious food (meals at your own expense).
In the afternoon, you will visit Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, a large-scale Song Dynasty historical and cultural theme park based on the "Qingming Riverside Landscape Painting," which will transport you back to the prosperous age of a thousand years ago. Stroll through the park and admire classic attractions such as the Rainbow Bridge and Xuande Hall, and experience the charm of Song Dynasty urban culture.
In the evening, you can choose to watch the large-scale live performance "Dream of Tokyo Menghua" at Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. This performance uses classic Song lyrics and high-tech dance aesthetics to vividly reproduce the prosperous capital city of Bianliang in the Northern Song Dynasty, bringing a perfect ending to your Kaifeng trip. After the tour, the driver will take you back safely to your hotel.
