Start your quest at Rosso Square, one of the main plazas ever since the Middle Ages. These grounds have witnessed countless revolutions, celebrations, bullfights, and executions, a truly historical piece of Lisbon's landscape. From there, proceed to the Restauradores Square for a viewing of the Obelisk - a majestic monument that symbolizes victory and independence. Walk farther along and arrive at Rossio Central Station, a terminal with a strange Neo-Mauline facade that fascinates architects even today. Next, look into the city's past through Carmo Square's romantic gothic ruins. Just a few streets away stands the historic Baixa district and the grand neighborhood of Chiado. Filled with rows of establishments, Baixa houses some of the best restaurants to try Pastel de Nata at. Savor the rich, creamy texture of the local delicacy even as you board one of the old vintage trams to Alfama. Check out the Baixa's Neoclassical architecture that stretches along Chiado, which gives way to another point in time when you step into Alfama's town proper - an ancient hillside neighborhood. This cultural heritage can be seen even in discreet wine bars, which you'll visit for a tapas and wine tasting session. Pay your respects at Lisbon's Cathedral before your tour ends at the impressive plaza of Praça do Comércio.

the tour duration is just right, we overrun a little bit and the tour lasted for 3 hours 20 minutes. The walk is not challenging, some walk uphill but are all within 10 minutes, then there will be a stop for you to rest and take some good pictures, just make sure you wear trainers instead of flip flops. Our guide Catarina is very friendly and informative, she gave us an amazing guide along the walk. an egg tart, codfish cake and green wine are included in the tour as well! definitely worth the price!
I booked two tours in Lisbon: one walking tour and another by tuk-tuk. The walking tour turned out to be unexpectedly amazing! It was a three-hour walk through the city center, guided by Mr. Phillip, whose rich and educational storytelling brought Lisbon’s history to life—every building seemed to have a story. I absolutely loved it. At one point, I got lost while trying to buy an umbrella during a sudden rain shower. The team reached out to me quickly and helped me reunite with my guide, Phillip. I’m super grateful for that and for the patience he showed throughout the tour. At the end, Phillip told us to enjoy “my city,” and I could truly feel the love and pride he has for Lisbon—it really struck me. Mr. Phillip definitely made my Lisbon trip a highlight. We booked a walking tour of Lisbon on Klook and had such an amazing time learning about the city from Leslie! Highly recommend. Do wear comfy shoes because the tour length is about 2h and there will be walking up and down stairs and hills.
I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Filipe was an amazing tour guide with lots of knowledge and it was so fun too! the food and drinks along the way was a great add on to the experience! There is a lot of walking to do, going up and down stairs but to see lots of historic places and the best view points are all worth it! a nice small group of people which was nice and intimate, we made lovely friends along the way
