Taste Jiangnan: Hangzhou + Wuzhen 2-Day Tour

This is a very nice trip. The guide is trying her best to explain everything about 乌镇 and 杭州. This is different from free and easy trip as I get to understand and appreciate the history of places I have visited, thereby value adding my good experience in the 2 places I visited. The hotel I opted for is more expensive and high class one. for this hotel, the breakfast is nice, and the rooms are very clean.

Tour Guide: Wuzhen ~ Guolicheng Tour Guide: Hangzhou ~ Sally Yue Itinerary: A two-day, one-night group tour. Both tour guides were very good, and they clearly explained the pick-up/drop-off meeting points and the scenic spots. Accommodation Choice: Stayed one night in Wuzhen, and the accommodation was decent. Transportation Choice: Standard tour bus. Attractions: Self-selected scenic spots. We had plenty of time in Wuzhen. For the Hangzhou leg, choosing Songcheng felt a bit rushed, but overall the itinerary was arranged quite well.

Good planning of itinerary and tour guides were professional. accomodation at Wuzhen was good! Food arrangements were good too!

The places we went were great. Some items on the itinerary is misleading. Breakfast was only included for next morning, there was a mix of groups that booked different packages but joined with the tour later on so it took more time to get the passenger sorted and picked up. The last bit of SongCheng may not be the best place to be if you like nature over manmade themed park.

The tour guide provided detailed explanations of the attractions, and the itinerary was well-organized and smooth.

A two-day trip led by three different tour guides was quite a good experience. All three guides were very good, providing clear explanations and patiently leading the entire team. Thank you to all the guides and drivers for allowing me to experience a happy trip.

The vehicle from Suzhou to Wuzhen was too small, and the driver was speeding the whole way, which was very frightening. There was no room for luggage, so it had to be placed in the aisle, resulting in a terrible experience. Upon arriving in Wuzhen, we paid an extra upgrade fee of 50 per person for a four-star hotel. That hotel was not cleaned properly, and the breakfast was abysmal. Out of a 10-day, 9-night trip to mainland China, this was the worst hotel I stayed in. Furthermore, people in mainland China do not seem to use serving chopsticks. During lunch on the second day, we had shared dishes, and I didn't dare eat anything. However, on the local tour I joined in Shaoxing, the local guide insisted that serving chopsticks be provided for every single dish during shared meals. He required serving chopsticks for everyone, so I feel that the choice of tour group makes a huge difference. When traveling to mainland China, I will never choose Klook again.
