Host Introduction

Hello everyone, I'm Xiao Ke, a food host for Eatwith Shared Moments in Chengdu. I'm a native of Chengdu, and because of my love for food and cooking, I naturally grew up in this culinary environment. I also majored in photography and have shot many food-related subjects and people.

This ingredient experience center was founded by me and has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 5 consecutive years from 2022-2026! Here, you can experience greetings among diners, discussions across tables, and hear everyday chatter.

Experience Introduction

Adhering to the original intention of not letting any ingredient go to waste and the experience accumulated over two or three decades of working with food and cooking, we have adapted many state banquet dishes from Sichuan cuisine into uncommon street snack menus, presenting an amazing Sichuan snack feast.

We will share information with diners about the origin, preservation, and preparation methods of the ingredients in that evening's menu. We will diligently convey the information we have learned about food ingredients over the years to every friend participating in the experience, so that everyone can learn about ingredients and cooking during the meal, and also know how to choose ingredients for themselves in the future.

We have many excellent ingredients, and even many foreign restaurants import ingredients from here. We hope to make the best use of these fresh ingredients and give more people the opportunity to taste and learn about them.

Experience Process

At the beginning of the experience, we will introduce our menu to every friend participating and explain why these dishes were chosen. Then, we will popularize common Sichuan cuisine ingredients and the ingredients and preparation methods of the delicacies we are about to taste. We will also share Sichuan cuisine cooking tips that cannot be learned elsewhere. During the tasting session, everyone will taste each snack and dish with the information they have learned. We will ensure that every friend participating in the experience can taste the flavor, understand the ingredients, and comprehend the methods.
