This tour was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Our guide, Naomi, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience—nothing was too much trouble for her. The views were breathtaking, and the entire team was incredibly attentive to every detail.
Fran from Amigo Tours was a very personable and helpful guide. The day felt well-organized and we learned a lot of Japanese history that we otherwise would have missed out on. It was also great to no worry about public transportation and to leave our belongings on the bus between activities. Highly reccomend this tour!
A must do tour while in Tokyo. Beru was exceptional explaining all about the the Japanese culture. Nikko is beautiful, it has so much history. You have plenty of time to see all the sightseeings.
We really enjoyed our tour to Nikko with George. He was very informative and taught us many things about the Japanese culture. Tips for other travlers: Lots of walking around the temple ans Nikko can be cold even in June.
a great hassle free experience. This is the trip you take if you want to see Nikko in all its nature filled glory. Beru the guide was fluent in both English and Spanish. He provided excellent commentary throughout the journey and made sure there was enough time to see the best attraction at every stop. The driver Waku was very professional and got us to our destinations on time and without issue. Do this trip on the weekdays as this allows potential for no traffic on the roads.
wanted to go to Nikko and decided to go with a tour for the ease of transportation. we had a wonderful guide, Naomi, who explained lots of history and culture that was very helpful and interesting. I’ve been solo traveling for a week and a half, and I regret not doing this earlier into my trip and I would have approach many experiences more knowledgeably!
The tour guide, Jorge, is friendly, accomodating, funny, very helpful, and hands on. Learned so much on Japan culture and history. The tour is chill with little hikes. Time is enough to roam around. We are lucky that roads are not closed and there are still snow.
This tour is spectacular. If you come to Tokyo, you absolutely must set aside a day for this tour. The guide is incredible, alternating between Spanish and English, which makes it very dynamic, the best I've ever seen! We are leaving very happy with this experience, 100% recommended. Everyone should do this tour. Thank you for this amazing day!
Had a wonderful day out with our guide Jorge and driver Ejima. Jorge was funny, witty and inter verse between English and Spanish. He was able to manage timing, the pace and provided a lot of tips, culture facts during the coach ride as well. Though the weather was wet and foggy, we still had a lot of fun. Food recommendation was good, and overall, this is a very recommended tour out of Tokyo.
had a great time on the tour to Nikko. while the drive was long from Tokyo, Bert our tour guide did a good job keeping it entertaining. was a good balance of guided tour and free time. Bert also went to each person on the bus answering any questions in general on Japan or giving recommendations. The shrine, lake, and waterfall were all amazing. Highly recommended and worth the time to get there and back.
