Autumn Scenery Naejang & Seorak National Park Maple leaves Day Tour

Highly recommend! Very good tour guide by HWA. Since the trip is quite far (3 to 4 hrs), you are given 15 min toilet breaks in between. The place is just superb. We went on Oct 20, 2023. Autumn foliage was just starting to show and the colors were wonderful. We followed groups that were climbing up a trail, although not an easy task, it was worth the experience. Many places to take photographs in Seoraksan National Park. A definite tour for nature lovers.

If you're looking for a round trip shuttle service out to Seoraksan from Seoul without the frills then this is the right package for you. The bus is very nice and comfortable, there isn't any eating or drinking allowed so make sure to eat a snack before you get on the bus. Or you can eat at the rest stop on the way to the mountain. There are lots of food options at the rest stop but you'll only be stopping there for 10 minutes. The tour guide did a great job switching between Korean, Chinese, and English. You'll have plenty of time to explore the area once you arrive. We went up on the cable car as a group, ate lunch at the top, walked to the temples at the base, and then hiked up to the waterfalls. It's mostly green at the base but you'll see more fall foliage the higher you go up.

This tour is basically a pick up, drop off & fetch you back to the original location. The staff, Mr Shin is kind and explained to us about the details of the tour and it is free & easy for us to explore on our own. I took the opportunity to do a hiking trek to Ulsanbawi hike and it is just sufficient time if you do not want to explore other areas of Mt Seoraksan.

This is super nice tour! Very very relax trip and the tour guide is very accomodating. No need to think oh how to go y too naejansan. Will book this tour every autumn. Perfect for the autumn leaves. Please see photos

Basically just a way to get us to the national park and back. The bus left on time and arrived exactly when it said it would. Super chill schedule once we got there, and there was plenty of time to look around as well.

Neizang Mountain has a very beautiful maple leaf trail. After walking for about 40 minutes, you can go to Yuhua Pavilion and enjoy the beautiful scenery, and then take the cable car or continue walking to Neizang Temple. Today's tour guide is Huahua HWA. He contacted me before the trip and reminded me of the bus time, which was very considerate. Overall, it was a very comfortable journey, except that the round-trip drive lasted about eight hours, which was a bit more strenuous compared to the more than five hours at the scenic spot.

Seoraksan is better than I thought. Worth the 3 hour drive. There are many walking spots, many restaurants, cafes, and it's clean. Come during the season when the leaves start changing colors, it's already very beautiful. The only disadvantage is that the stream is a bit dry.
