it’s worth the climb up the tower especially around golden hour. the 360 view is beautiful. note that steps are narrow and steep.
It’s nice. Similar views at other locations nearby. I wouldn’t pay for this considering. Maybe charge a bit less.
Helps to skip the line and was easy to use. Great view!
it was great! I recommend visiting this while going in Porto. The Church is already beautiful as it is but the extra views makes it even better!
Worth a visit to Clérigos Tower. Quite a climb up to the tower but the view over Porto from above is amazing!
Churches or historical buildings in Portugal are relatively less impressive compared to other European places, but I think this Clerigos Church Tower is more worth visiting, and more areas are open. So the trip is more interesting. And it's not too high, so it's not too hard to walk up. As you walk up, there's a museum to see. So it feels relaxed.
challenging climb up the tower but the stunning viewpoint is worth it
It was wonderful! I'll definitely come again next time.

Guide

  • Visit the symbol of Porto; this iconic tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city
  • Get amused by the adjacent Igreja dos Clerigos, designed by Nicolau Nasoni, which showcases intricate Baroque details and a stunning divided staircase
  • The Clerigos Building houses the impressive Irmandade dos Clerigos and Christus collections in its exhibition hall

Discover the grandeur of Porto’s iconic Torre dos Clerigos, a striking tower adjacent to the Baroque Igreja dos Clerigos. Visible from many spots around the city, it stands as a symbol of Porto. Commissioned by the Clerigos Brotherhood and designed by renowned 18th-century Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, the church's construction began in 1732 and was completed around 1750. By the mid-1750s, the impressive divided stairway at the church’s entrance was finished, complementing the ornate Baroque facade. For an unforgettable view of Porto, climb the Bell Tower, then explore the Clerigos Building's exhibition hall, home to the remarkable Irmandade dos Clerigos and Christus collections!
