Seoul DongMyo branch SPAREX Jjimjilbang Sauna Admission Ticket

The Dongmyo store is on the 13th floor of the building to the right of Exit 6. I was worried about going to the wrong store, but you buy tickets when you get there. The auntie was very kind; she waited for me to buy the tickets and then introduced us to everything. The hot springs were very comfortable. The body scrub hurt a little at first, but after I got used to it, the experience was quite good. After soaking, we put on the clothes provided by the front desk and went to the 12th floor to rest and eat. I will definitely come again next time.

Environment: Clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. Amenities: Shared soap is provided. Bringing your own bath products and shampoo is recommended to avoid extra costs. Ladies, if you're not washing your hair, remember to bring a hair tie or clip to put it up. Atmosphere: Lazy, relaxed, and carefree. Very pleasant. There was even a Korean uncle snoring in his sleep 💤😂

The auntie there for the body scrub was really nice and friendly. They will ask you to buy the scrub matts from the kiosk so you know its brand new and clean. At the end you can keep the scrub mat if you want or they will help you discard them. There’s also a photo booth area which only takes cash and card so need to bring your wallet out.

The Dongmyo location is clean, but the full body scrub package doesn't include shampoo or a bath towel, which is inconvenient as you have to pay extra. It would be best to clarify this or include it all! You have to reserve sleeping spaces in advance... Overall, it's okay.

I purchased a ticket for the Korean sauna (Jjimjilbang) + body scrub, but when I entered, the Ajumma at the store kept insisting that I buy new scrub gloves, which cost 6,000 won for two. Even when I told her I didn't want to buy them, she kept pushing and made a snide remark about how I had a lot of money in my wallet and couldn't understand why I wouldn't buy them. In order to get the scrub done smoothly, I had no choice but to spend more money, and I was required to pay in cash. Afterwards, I even had to go and ask for the scrub gloves I had purchased back. The facilities inside were okay, with about four or five small rooms of different temperatures. The massage chairs required payment, and you could also pay for a massage inside. There's also a restaurant that sells food. The Ajumma who did the scrub was very thorough, but compared to Dragon Hill Spa, there was a slight difference. The body scrub is cheaper for men than for women, even though they scrub the whole body, I don't know why there is a price difference. I kind of regret it. I should have spent a little more money and gone to another, larger Korean sauna for the experience.

I was thinking of buying tickets directly on-site, but I booked here because they only accepted cash. There was a voucher issuing machine, so I used it to get my voucher. It's a very convenient system, and I was happy that there were no extra fees. The woman at the reception desk was very helpful and explained everything clearly, so I was able to enter without any problems. This Sparex is in a new building and the inside is modern. It seems you can also store your suitcase in a locker. The inside was spacious and very comfortable, so we were able to take a nap after arriving on an early morning flight. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

There's a lukewarm bath in the bathing area. "Things to note": No shampoo, conditioner, body soap, or exfoliating towel provided. Only soap is available, so bring your own. The hair dryer requires 200 won (coin-operated). If you don't have change, you can exchange money at the shop.

The location is convenient, and you can use the facilities for 24 hours from entry. There's a reasonably priced restaurant inside. During the Korean Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, it will be more crowded than usual. Arrive early to secure a spot if you want a private space.

The location is fairly convenient, but there aren't many steam rooms; there's only one at 15 degrees Celsius, one at 28 degrees Celsius, and two at over 80 degrees Celsius. The price is reasonable, and it was a very special experience to try the Korean sauna with my family.
