What to expect
Reference Itinerary
- Day 1 Free shuttle service within the designated range (Huangshan North Railway Station, Huangshan Tunxi International Airport) is available until 20:00. If you arrive after 20:00, please make your own way to the hotel in Tunxi district. Hotel check-in time is after 14:00. If you arrive early, it is recommended that you store your luggage at the front desk.
- Day 2 06:30 Proceed to Huangshan Scenic Area, take the scenic area shuttle bus (scenic shuttle bus fare included) at the transfer center to the Yungu ropeway. After going up the mountain on foot or by cable car, visit Baie Ridge, Shixin Peak, Brush Pen Peak, Beihai Scenic Area, and Xihai Scenic Area. If the weather is clear and fine, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset of Huangshan. Ropeway up and down the mountain: one-way takes about 12 minutes, normal ropeway queue waiting time: about 20 minutes (Yungu one-way is 80 RMB/person, at your own expense). Walking up and down the mountain: one-way takes about 3 hours. There is no tour guide accompanying you during the walk up the mountain. You can make an appointment with the tour guide in advance regarding the specific time and place to meet on the mountain. Visit Bright Summit, the second highest peak of Huangshan. Visit Tianhai, Aoyu (Fish) Peak, walk through Aoyudong (Fish Leap Tunnel) or One-Line-Sky, visit Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder and Yuping Tower Scenic Area, and admire the millennium-old Greeting Pine. You can decide whether to walk or take the ropeway based on your physical strength and personal situation. Afterwards, take the scenic area shuttle bus down the mountain (20 minutes, scenic shuttle bus fare included) and check into the hotel in Tunxi district.
- Day 3 08:00 Proceed to the “painting-like village”—Hongcun. The beautiful natural scenery, unique Huizhou-style architecture, and profound cultural heritage deeply attract tourists from all over the world to visit. After lunch at your own expense, you will be centrally transferred back to Huangshan North Railway Station, the airport, or hotels in Tunxi district. (Since the itinerary ends rather late, it is recommended to book high-speed rail tickets after 16:00 and flights after 18:00) (The itinerary is for reference only. The specific itinerary is subject to the actual opening conditions of the scenic area, and the tour guide may make adjustments based on the conditions of the day)
