Ao Dai Experience with Iconic Instagram Tour in Saigon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience overall! The Ao Dai experience paired with the iconic Instagram spots around Saigon was well planned and enjoyable. Having a private English-speaking guide made a big difference — she was very knowledgeable, shared interesting historical and cultural insights, and was easy to talk to. The tour felt relaxed and not rushed, perfect for photos and exploring the city in traditional attire. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a cultural experience with great photo opportunities.

It was a great time to experience the local culture with a personal guide. I got to wear a very beautiful national costume and I loved it. It was very cheap and great value for money.

I booked a group tour with a Japanese guide, but since I was the only participant, it became a private tour. I felt like I got a great deal! I signed up for the morning tour (8:00-11:00) because it was the rainy season and there was a chance of rain. It did rain during the tour, but the guide took advantage of it to capture some amazing photos! Besides photos, I also learned a lot about history. We traveled by foot or taxi (for short distances, taxis wouldn't come, so we walked). First, we went to an Ao Dai rental shop, where I chose my own color and design. There was a wide range of sizes, so you're sure to find something you love! Shoes, bags, and makeup are not included, but that's perfectly fine. I also paid extra for a hair styling service (about 300 yen)! They even added a floral hair ornament 🌸. Since not many tourists were wearing Ao Dai while sightseeing, not only my guide but also other tourists often took my picture 😂. Many people complimented my outfit! I think the content of this tour for the price is an excellent value. I actually had the guide for 8:00-13:00, haha. Also, at the market, the guide bought me a fruit juice that's hard to find in Japan (sugar-apple)! This tour would be even more fulfilling if you build a good rapport with your guide!

I was on a Japanese tour by myself. My guide was a woman named Tao. She picked me up at the hotel lobby, and when I asked to take photos at famous spots and send postcards from the post office, she taught me how to buy and send them, and even communicated with the staff for me. While I was writing the postcards, she adjusted my Ao Dai and took pictures. She also took me to a section of Ben Thanh Market where you can't negotiate prices, and I was able to get four T-shirts at a great deal! I love Vietnam T-shirts for 99,000 VND! They're cheap even without negotiating! The only downside was that they didn't have any 333 beer T-shirts! We walked to our destinations and only took a car twice. On the way back, I changed at the hotel and returned the Ao Dai. Since I barely understand English, I'm glad I chose the Japanese tour! She also talked about history, and I was completely satisfied with the entire three hours!

I visited Ho Chi Minh City with my friend for the first time. I wore an Ao Dai and visited many famous tourist spots. Our guide, Phuong Thai Nguyen N, was very kind and told us a lot about the history and popular places, so we had a really happy time. She also took great pictures and we were able to go to popular shopping spots, which was the best. I wanted to participate in other tours, but unfortunately I couldn't due to schedule constraints. However, if I have the opportunity to come again, I will immediately book a tour to see the fireflies and the river! The attached photos were taken by our guide. Thank you so much!!

The itinerary was great and my mum and I had a great time taking photographs wearing the traditional Vietnamese costumes. We only went to 2 places instead of 4 as my mum was not feeling well. Our guide, Ha Tran, was skillful in taking great photographs for us and we were very contented.

Wonderful experience with our guide Hannah! She is very cute, bubbly and informative. she really took care of us making sure we are comfortable. I had a great time wearing the Ao Dai and took many photos at the various sightseeing spot! Is definitely worth experiencing this trend!

I highly recommend this tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Mavis, messaged me on WhatsApp the night before the tour. Everything went smoothly, and we greatly enjoyed touring around Ho Chi Minh wearing Ao Dai.
