Northern Okinawa: Churaumi Aquarium & Kouri Island & Cape Manza & American Village Day Tour (Departing from Naha & Chatan)

Minami-san is a great guide! She provide explanation for each spot in English and Chinese, which make the whole trip enjoyable! first stop manzomo and Kaori beach has 30 minutes each, while chikauri Aquarium got 3.5 hours, last stop American village 1 hour, can choose to go back without follow the bus!I get to try the banana milk shake at American village stop near information center. Kudos to the driver for the safe drive and punctuality!

Such a smooth and enjoyable day tour! Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium was definitely the highlight—seeing the massive whale sharks up close was unforgettable. Cape Manza had stunning ocean views, perfect for photos. The bus was comfortable, schedule was well-paced, and everything was hassle-free. Highly recommended if you want to explore Northern Okinawa in one day!

A very satisfying one-day tour itinerary. This route is truly well-suited for a guided one-day bus tour or a self-driving trip. We visited the main attractions as planned, with no hidden shopping stops. The time allocated for exploring each stop was quite sufficient. The tour guide, Ms. Tsang, was very professional and engaging in her explanations and guidance, making it captivating to listen. Wonderful one-day tour—this route is very suitable for driving by yourself or signing up for such a one-day tour because each attraction is well-spaced. The tour went exactly as described, and we had sufficient time at each place. The tour guide Tsang knew a lot about living and working in Okinawa, as well as its history. Her storytelling was interesting throughout the journey.

Ms. Qian, the tour guide, led us through a pleasant day! This trip didn't involve self-driving, so we joined a day tour. The northern attractions were very appealing and were some of the most worthwhile places to visit in Okinawa. The tour members were all punctual in arriving at the departure time. Although the drive was long, the tour guide enlivened the atmosphere and carefully introduced the history, precautions, etc. of each location. The amount of time spent at each attraction was sufficient to see the entire site. However, at the end, in American Village, we chose to return on our own because we felt that the original 40 minutes was not enough. The tour guide also told us that we could choose a bus back to Naha for the return trip. The whole experience was very enjoyable, and with the tour guide's introduction, it is highly recommended. The early bird discount is also much cheaper!

There was enough time for all the attractions we visited, and the weather was excellent. The tour guide provided very clear explanations, so we never felt lost, and we had plenty of time at each stop. The last stop was American Village, where we could leave the group directly. You can spend a long time at American Village and then take a taxi back on your own. This tour offers great value for money, as transportation can be quite inconvenient if you're exploring on your own.

Overall, we were satisfied with the arrangements, and the tour guide from Northeast China enthusiastically shared a lot of information with everyone. The downside was that too much time was allocated to the Churaumi Aquarium, while Cape Manzamo and Kouri Island were given too little time. Additionally, having to wait for latecomers was a bit disappointing; I hope future departures will strictly adhere to the scheduled times.

Traveling alone to Okinawa this time, I chose to join a Klook Day Tour to visit the northern attractions. The tour included admission tickets, and the tour bus was comfortable. The driver was very steady, so I slept most of the way. The tour guide distributed the tickets smoothly, and everyone gathered and departed on time. It was a great day tour experience! 🥰

For families visiting Okinawa without a rental car, this northern day tour is highly recommended. There's ample time at each stop. We ended up staying in American Village until the evening and then took a taxi back to our hotel in Naha Kenchomae.
