- Mount Takao in Autumn Foliage Season Mount Takao is located on the border of Tokyo, about an hour’s drive from the city center. Arriving here, you can experience a natural landscape that is completely different from Tokyo. Especially during the maple leaf season, take the mountain cable car from the foot of Mount Takao all the way up, and you can enjoy a variety of colorful maple leaves along the way! It’s like walking through a tunnel of maple leaves, bringing unparalleled emotion to every guest! After arriving at the summit, the maple leaves around Yakuo-in Temple and Momijidai are also unique!
- Showa Memorial Park Showa Memorial Park is located in Tachikawa City, Tokyo. This place is most famous for its ginkgo avenue, which turns golden in autumn! This 300-meter-long ginkgo avenue is lit up at night, giving you a different atmosphere from the daytime, and experiencing a special romantic autumn and winter atmosphere! ※Does not include admission fee for the Japanese Garden
- Yomiuriland Yomiuriland’s “Jewel Illumination” is a famous winter light show every year. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the park’s opening, this year’s theme is “LIGHT is LOVE ~ Diamond 60th Anniversary ~”, symbolizing the 60-year love journey corresponding to a diamond wedding. This light show is supervised by world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii, who designed the lighting for Tokyo Tower. It uses unique light and shadow effects to present beautiful and spectacular light art, creating a charming world of light. One of the highlights of the light show is the “Fountain Show”, which uses a 15-meter-high giant water screen as a background, combined with 238 fountains, lasers, and flame effects, to present a visually stunning performance that is definitely worth seeing. In addition, the “Celebration Promenade”, launched for the first time this year, uses soft colors and warm light to create a comfortable and peaceful space where people can relax. Among them, the most dreamlike “Crystal Tunnel” is a 140-meter-long tunnel of light. The lights in the tunnel are inspired by gemstone crystals, and the colorful colors surround every visitor, as if they are in a sparkling dream. This light show not only brings visual shock, but also is full of romantic and warm atmosphere, allowing people to fully feel the interwoven charm of light and love. ※The ticket includes the admission fee, but the fee for the amusement facilities needs to be paid separately ※Please have dinner at your own expense in Yomiuriland

I went on 11/16/2024: the row of yellow leaves is very beautiful. The light park is beautiful. Takao mountain is green at this time, very crowded. Long line down the mountain. The experience of Takao mountain is not very good.
The Japanese tour guide was very responsible and accompanied us all the way, thank you! ~~~~
The tour guide is very responsible in leading everyone and explaining very carefully, thank you!
The experience is quite different from the usually metropolis vibes. If you are into nature, this is for you
Although the weather was not very good that day, the sightseeing schedule was really good. After watching the maple leaves, we went to watch the ginkgo trees, followed by the lights, and the Japanese tour guides communicated well with us!
the maple leaves were beautiful but the Yomiuri playground was too cold to enjoy. our guide was very good and took good care of us and shared information well.
Mt. Takao was too crowded and not quite enjoyable. The cable car/lift system needs to be improved to accommodate the crowd. The wait was long and half of the group got stuck on the way down, causing the tour to be delayed. This caused our time at Showa Kinen Park and Yomiuriland to be less than an hour each; it was a pity that we could not enjoy them fully. Guide was friendly and tried his best given the circumstances.
It was a nice trip even at the end the weather was not support as rainy ;) Nick is a very informative and supportive guide.
Tour guide was awesome. Some people on our bus was not very considerate of the time that was scheduled at each place. So with them being late to return back to the bus, it shortened our visits to our other planned destinations
Our tour guide, Mr. Lin, was very nice and patient, even when other guests were late. He didn't seem impatient at all.
