As always, Klook made our trip more convenient. When we visited the Independence Palace, the line at the ticket counter was very long. Thankfully, since we booked through Klook, we were able to use the fast lane, and there was a dedicated staff member to assist us with claiming our tickets. The place is huge and perfect for taking photos. It’s well-maintained, and I really appreciate how they have preserved the historical site. Definitely worth visiting!

A great place to visit for those interested in Vietnam’s history. However, the map direction on Klook was inaccurate, and we had to walk almost one full round around the area before finding the main entrance. Klook should definitely update the location guide. We paid an extra 25,000 VND for the electric car ride with audio explanations around the palace grounds, which lasted about 5–10 minutes before entering the building itself. Inside the Independence Palace, visitors mainly use the stairs, while the lift is reserved for people with disabilities. We didn’t manage to explore every section because it was quite hot inside, but overall it was still a good and worthwhile experience. The palace is well preserved and gives a nice insight into Vietnam’s historical background.

If you come to Vietnam, you must visit the Reunification Palace to learn about Vietnamese history. If you buy tickets through Klook, you don't have to spend extra time queuing on-site. When traveling, your company's employees also proactively contacted me via WhatsApp to confirm that I had booked the itinerary and approximately what time I would arrive. I think this is a great approach, and customers can also use WhatsApp to explain problems and provide their estimated time of arrival, which is convenient for staff to be present to provide you with tickets. I visited the itinerary that included Norodom Palace, and I recommend renting an audio guide on the day. I rented a Chinese audio guide to better understand the interior of the Reunification Palace. The Reunification Palace is really big! Please allow 2-3 hours to walk around the grounds!

You need to look staff in red T-shirt to redeem your voucher. They hang around the entrance gate or the bus stop. If you don't see them, perhaps they go to the toilet. The palace itself is grandeur, with many chambers where the head of states and high-rank officials meet and discuss things. But you can only see from the outside. The doors are open, but you cannot come in. Be prepared for large crowds as many tour groups include this place in their package, thanks to the relatively low entrance ticket. There are three floors to explore. On the top floor, there is a chopper that might have been made retired. Overall, this place is worth-visiting to have a glimpse of what royal chambers actually look like. It adds to our knowledge of Vietnamese history.

We visited this historic site on our own, and it was absolutely worth it. Walking through the halls gave us a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s past.
