This was my first time taking a military zone tour with my two sons, and I want to thank our guide, Joey, for the excellent and thoughtful arrangements, including the vehicle, itinerary, and explanations. My sons had many questions about history, and Joey patiently and professionally answered all of them. Thank you! The military zone tour was great; going into the tunnels was fun and exciting. Of course, the most anticipated part was seeing North Korea, which my sons were also very excited about! The scenery at the waterfall and bridge afterward was beautiful! It's definitely worth a visit!
It was a fun and interesting experience. Edward was our guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful. It was fascinating learning more about Korea's history and walking through one of the tunnels. We can't ask for a better guide!! Thank you Edward . You are the best!
If you're thinking about booking this DMZ tour, I highly recommend it! We had an amazing experience, and a big part of that was our guide, John. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip fun from start to finish. What I appreciated most was how he didn't just explain the main attraction, he also shared interesting facts and random trivia about South Korea during the drive, which made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. His passion for sharing the country's history really stood out, and he explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Thanks to John, we left with a much deeper appreciation of South Korea's history and culture. If you're lucky enough to have him as your guide, you're in for a great experience. Thank you, John, for making this tour both educational and memorable!
Yoon was an amazing and very enthusiastic host. He knew a lot about the places we visited and answered all our questions. He was patient and kind and despite the rainy weather, he made sure we had the best trip possible. Would recommend!
We had an excellent experience on the DMZ tour. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the schedule was smooth and efficient without ever feeling rushed. Our guide, Richard, truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much historical background and context throughout the tour. One of the highlights was the restaurant Richard brought us to — the food was amazing. What stood out even more was how attentive and caring he was during the meal. He didn’t just drop us off and leave us on our own; he actually served us, explained the dishes, and even taught us the proper way to eat them. It felt like he went far beyond what you would normally expect from a tour guide. Richard’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the whole day memorable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Richard as your guide!
We had a fantastic time during thia tour. Yoojin was our guide and he really showed his knowledge of the DMZ. The cow story was my favorite adding this during the tour and pointing out how it was commemorated as we entered the DMZ was a nice touch. The monorail was not working during our visit so we had a fitness test going up the tunnel. Otherwise this was an eye opener at the conflict in the area.
a highly recommended tour! the places we visited are all amazing. the DMZ tour is very educational. our guide Mr. Yoon is amazing! he told us lots of stories on history and the striking features of the places. he's very accomodating and helpful... most of all he takes very very nice photos! we will do this again when we return to seoul.
Thanks John for an absolute 5-star experience from start to finish! The absolute highlights were diving deep into DMZ history and current border events, paired with a beautiful visit to the scenic fountain for a refreshing dose of nature. As an added bonus, we were treated to a delicious, authentic traditional Korean meal that I absolutely loved. Our tour guide John who always smile was phenomenal—bringing amazing, high-energy vibes that kept the whole group entertained. Not only was he incredibly informative and ready to answer every single question with historical facts, but he also packed the day with unique, fascinating stories you simply cannot find online. Huge thanks to our wonderful guide John and the fantastic group of travelers for making this trip so memorable. I highly and totally recommend this tour!
We had an amazing trip to the DMZ and the UNESCO Heritage sites, and our tour guide, Jin, made the experience even more memorable. Jin was incredibly friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting facts throughout the tour, making every stop engaging and enjoyable. One thing we really appreciated was how well he planned everything—we were always among the first in line, which gave us more time to enjoy each destination without the crowds. He was also very attentive and happily took family photos for us, capturing some beautiful memories that we’ll treasure. On top of that, he brought us to a fantastic local restaurant where we enjoyed some amazing food. If you’re looking for a professional, organized, and thoughtful tour guide who truly goes the extra mile, I highly recommend Jin. Thank you for making our family trip so special!
