Aswan Abu Simbel Temples Full-Day Private Guided Tour

Abu Simbel is breathtaking, the colossi of Ramesses II are massive, and we had them almost to ourselves because we left Aswan at 4 in the morning. The guide told wonderful stories about relocating the temple. A private air-conditioned car was a great choice in such heat.

Best day of our Egypt trip. Private guide, comfy van, snacks and water in the car. We beat the crowds at Abu Simbel and had plenty of time for photos. Wear sunscreen!

Nefertari's temple was the most surprising part of the day; the wall paintings are so well-preserved and colorful. Our private guide, Ahmed, gave us time to walk around at our own pace before the tour buses arrived. An early departure from Aswan, but completely worth it.

A private chartered car is really comfortable; you don't have to squeeze into a large tour group, and the tour guide even helps take pictures. The giant statues at Abu Simbel are much more breathtaking in person than in photos. You can also catch up on sleep in the car on the way back. Highly recommended to friends planning to visit Aswan.

The Temple of Nefertari is so stunning! The colors of the murals inside are very vivid, and our tour guide even taught us how to read hieroglyphics. The Temple of Nefertari was my absolute favorite; the details in the murals are incredibly exquisite, and our tour guide explained that it was dedicated to the queen, which is very romantic.
