What to expect
Embark on an unforgettable adventure as we cruise along the stunning Waianae coastline in search of various dolphin species. We’ll voyage out in search of wild dolphins, including Pan Tropical Spotted, Bottlenose, and Spinner dolphins, along the West Oahu coastline. After, we’ll head to Makaha for snorkeling with Hawaiian Sea Turtles and tropical fish. Enjoy a complimentary lunch & warm drinks. Try our 21-foot water slide, floating mat, and paddleboards! Rinse off with our ION hot shower aboard our 2023 All-American Marine Catamaran, Poseidon. This family-friendly adventure will be a day to remember. The detailed explanation before the experience was very easy to understand. Having a Japanese guide also made me feel at ease participating! Everyone was friendly, and I had a fun experience. Although I'm not a strong swimmer, I was able to see many dolphins just by watching from the boat. In calmer waters, even those who aren't good at swimming could enter the water, use the slide, and touch coral that the guide retrieved. For lunch, we were served delicious sandwiches. You can also get photos taken by the guide in the ocean, though there is a fee! I'm looking forward to receiving them!
Having a Japanese crew member (RYUICHI-san) made the experience safe, fun, and worry-free. The other crew members were also kind and attentive, which was really great. From a Japanese perspective, the water is cold, the waves are surprisingly high and can sweep you away... motion sickness medicine is a must. Don't forget a bath towel. My 6th-grade son wasn't used to the snorkeling mask, so he took off the fins and swam with swimming goggles. It's a bit pricey, but wearing a wetsuit would make the experience more comfortable.
The guide and the staff were very nice! I was able to meet the dolphins safely. If you participate in this tour, motion sickness medicine is a must lol Thank you ☆
