Shirakawago & Hida Winter Illumination 2-Day Bus Tour (from Osaka)

Definitely a great and an unforgettable experience! Our friendly and informative tour guide (Julian) did a wonderful job in touring us around and providing highlights on the history behind Shirakawa-go village and Hida no Sato Takayama. Although it’s a small group in a mini bus, Julian really took good care of us during this 2-day tour, making sure we were all okay and if we needed anything. Lunch and breakfast were both full-filling and delicious. Shopping at Mitsui Outlet was a nice touch and a fun way to end the tour. Really worth visiting if you want to experience this dreamy snow-covered village called Shirakawa-go. It truly is a magical place. To see is to believe. Definitely a must see! It’s like a fairy-tale from a book or snow-globe that came to life. Highly recommended and would love to visit again! Thank you so much!

Everything is excellent for this trip! Hotel equipped with 2 onsens. Dinner & breakfast at the hotel is delicious. Transport is well-maintained. Guide is patient and explains well on the itinerary. We are able to replace beef meals with other options.

The trip was fun and nice. the guide is a funny guy and friendly. The tour a bit rush during lunch time on second day because you wouldn't have enought time to eat if you want to stroll around the old twin area

It wasn't as I hoped it to be since it rained all 2 days but fortunately we had a really good guide with Sachiko-san. She was really welcoming and personable from the get go. She really took care of us the whole way through. Even our driver Kamei-sama had our safety in mind. The saving grace for me was the great food experience. Every dish served was a feast for the senses. Grateful to have experienced that at least.

The snowy scenery of Shirakawa Country is very beautiful. The Hida no Sato lights are beautiful. The weather in the open-air hot springs is good and you can see the stars and the moon in the night sky. I like the traditional atmosphere of Takayama Jinya and the old townscape of Sanmachi. The tour guide Emi is very good. She patiently explains the itinerary and precautions and helps everyone take photos.

Everything ran by schedule. Taka was very nice and friendly. It’s worth every single penny.I had so much fun. Amazing trip😊

The tour guide is very friendly and takes good care of the whole process. Meals and accommodation are all available. Worth recommending!
