My family and I had a great time! Ken (our tour guide) was knowledgeable about all the temples we went to and answered all our questions regarding them. He was very accommodating and always smiling! He recommended us doing the photoshoot at Wat Arun while wearing traditional Thai wear and we absolutely loved it! At Wat Pho, he ended the tour by giving us free beverage of our choice (Thai milk tea, coffee) and even did a historical background of it as well. We ended up finishing earlier (30 mins earlier) since we wanted to walk around other places. Our guide also suggested doing the Thai Massage since the Massage school was right inside Wat Pho and that was how we ended our tour - with a great Thai Massage. We had a few breaks in between our walks and temples. He did not rush us to do anything and we had a great time. Thank you, Ken! group size: guide: breaks:
We had a wonderful and interesting tour with our guide Supoj. He introduced us to Thai history, religion, life, and politics, and shared exciting facts and information with us. We were slightly late, but thanks to direct WhatsApp accessibility, that was no problem. The tour with him through Wat Arun and Wat Pho was highly recommended - especially because of the guide - we are very satisfied. Oh: and he is an excellent photographer if you are interested in good photos. A great memory.
The private tour is a bit expensive but the tour guide, Sam Pun, is very knowledgeable and shared so many information. I hope he gets paid a lot especially having to explain information in the Bangkok heat for 3 hours! Sam Pun was simply amazing, he shared so many information and helped us take some photos. The itinerary can be enhanced by including a stop at a cafe near Wat Arun, that’d would be a nice relaxed trip. The additional Thai traditional costume is cheap but the shop staff that did my hair and helped me changed clothes seems to not want to be there with no smiles or no advice given on hair styles or anything like that. The additional photography was expensive as well for 30 minutes session, but the pictures are nice and they gave additional person to direct how to pose and hold our belongings in plastic bag which was much appreciated. Overall, expensive but I hope the company pays all the staff and tour guide accordingly as they worked very hard in the heat. Enjoyable trip!
Khun Wanida, our klook tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history of Thailand, and she speaks very good English. She makes sure we are well-attended and answers our every questions. Thanks, Klook!
We had an absolutely wonderful time during our tour, thanks to our exceptional guide, Sammy. Over the course of approximately three hours, Sammy guided us through the stunning temples of Wat Arun and Wat Pho. His explanations were clear, engaging, and filled with interesting details. It was evident that he had a deep respect and pride for Thailand’s heritage, which made the tour all the more meaningful. Sammy was professional throughout. Beyond his expertise, he was incredibly kind and attentive. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the course of the tour. He has a great eye for photography and knew exactly where to position us for the best shots. In fact, he often took the initiative to suggest photo opportunities and even offered to take pictures of us himself. The photos turned out beautifully, and we’re so grateful to have those memories captured so well. In summary, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way.
Num our guide is a detailed n knowledgeable guide. He told us the story behind the Wat Arun n Wat Pho were built n all the beautiful places around. He is punctual n also inform us where to have a real Thai Massage with the traditional skills n places to eat in Bangkok. He also took photos for us. Half day is not enough with him. He is a great guide. His background also made him can inform us all the things about the Wat Arun n Wat Pho, the history n what could do n couldn't do in the temple. Also let us know what the royal temple n public temple n the difference. It is fun n enjoy with him. My family is really happy. Maybe if you got him, he is a good choice.
it was a good experience despite it's just a half tour. the tour guide was so nice and so funny. we definitely understood immediately some parts of the history of Thailand with the help of the guide. we'll definitely book again if we'll be given another chance to come back. kudos as well on the patience of our tour guide as we were a bit late. we'll do better for sure but the experience was great!
Amazing architecture and broad range of places to take pictures with. Our tour guide Ken was knowledgeable and had great sense of humor while explaining the history behind the place.
After the tour guide Ton Aro gathered together, he first explained the history of Thailand and the story of the dynasty, and finally took him to the origin of Wat Arun and Wat Pho. It is quite comprehensive. If you are new to Thailand and are interested in Thai culture, you can join this tour. Oh, and they will also help take photos, which is a great experience. In addition, there is a massage academy at the end of Wat Pho. If you want a massage, you can ask the tour guide to take you to draw a number plate after entering Wat Pho. Our itinerary is about It ended at 3:30, and the staff said they had to wait until 5:00 for the massage, so I had to give up the experience, which was a pity.
Me and my friend had a great time walking around Wat Arun and Wat Pho. Our tour guide Dylan was amasing! He was fun to be with and prevented us from getting scammed at the temple. (also great photographer😉)
