It's great and worth tour. Walking in the night in Munich was wonderful experience. Unfortunately I registered in wrong group with German speaking. I can't understand more about the history. The tour guy was helpful and trying to give some Munich history in English. I definitely will join again. highly recommended.
I arrived in Munich in the evening and chose this night watchman tour, which starts at 9 PM, because I wanted to explore the Old Town. When I got to the meeting point, the tour guide kindly informed me that the entire tour would be in German, so it might not be interesting. They even offered a refund if I wanted to cancel. However, I decided to participate anyway, thinking it would be fine to see the city even if I didn't understand everything. It turned out to be a great decision! I was able to roughly understand the guide's explanations using a translation app, and I could laugh along with the group after using the app to find out what was funny. I thoroughly enjoyed Munich's Old Town at night. At the end, the guide even apologized, asking if I had been bored, which was another positive point for their kindness!
Although the activity schedule had the wrong time listed, it should have been 9:00 PM, which caused us to miss the actual meeting time. By the time we found everyone, it was already late, and some friends who couldn't find the group had already left. However, we did manage to hear a bit of the story translated using ChatGPT, and the story was still great.
Pretty good. It's mostly story-telling, which helps you understand Munich's history.
