Reviews
The guide's clear explanations made our time at the Open Air Museum even more enjoyable. The Underground City and Pigeon Valley were also beautiful. The group meal was a buffet, costing $15 per person, and the food quality was acceptable. We were taken to two places (pottery, gifts) for a brief visit along the way (no forced purchases). Overall, it was quite good.
I recently joined the Red Tour in Cappadocia with our guide Sefa Yüksel, and it was such a wonderful experience. The itinerary was well-balanced, covering highlights like Özkonak Underground City, Pigeon Valley and Uçhisar Castle, giving us a great mix of history, culture and beautiful scenery. Sefa was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour engaging with clear explanations and stories. I also appreciated how well the schedule was managed. We had just the right amount of time at each stop to explore without ever feeling rushed. Overall, I’m really happy with the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
The guide’s explanations were very thorough—not only about the sightseeing spots, but also about the activities. Since the tour involved walking through caves and hiking up some steep slopes, the guide paid close attention to our comfort, such as how easy the paths were to walk and whether we had enough energy. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a full and fulfilling day. The reservation process was smooth, and the guide even sent us a confirmation message the day before. I’m truly glad that we were able to visit Cappadocia, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Süleyman Yazgi was a great tourguide. He is very informative and he makes us comfortable throughout the duration of our trip. This tour was all worth it because of him, and I recommend it to other tourist who's first time visiting Cappadocia.
Süleyman is very nice and talkative during the tour . Well presented. He is trying his best to accommodate everyone in the group!! Ticket are not included. The tour is for the bus and the guide. •Göreme Open Air Museum €12 •Lunch Buffet €15 (Drinks need additional fee) •Özkonak Underground City €6 The guide brought it with another suggestion to see fairy chimneys for free and everyone are agreed. But I understand why paid is needed once I travel Paşabaglari (€12)and Uçhisar Castle(400TL)on the other day. That’s really worth to get inside. But the tour is only at outside and by far around 30mins stop by. One last the pick up arrangement is horrible. They arrange the pickup at 9am but the vehicle keep pick up other guests on the same road of our hotel. We have been drive pass 4 times of our hotel before the actually journey start. The tour end up getting a real start at 10am.
Here's my honest review. If you're not renting a car in Cappadocia, this tour is definitely worth trying at least once! It takes you to places you probably wouldn't have gone on your own, and you can capture unexpected scenery and photos. Secondly, after the tour is more than halfway done, you start to become friendly with the other people on the tour, chat, and have fun together. You can also talk about where you're from, what your itinerary is, and what places were good, etc., during meals. One interesting thing I noticed is that, whenever we eat on tours, the tables always seem to be divided into Asian tables and European tables. It's funny because no one tells us to do that, haha. The guide was great at explaining things and was very, very kind! One thing I found disappointing was that we kept stopping at shops. I didn't want to buy anything or even browse, and it wasn't included in the tour schedule, so I was a bit taken aback. But aside from that, everything was perfect.
We didn't receive the pickup time the day before, and we didn't have a WhatsApp contact, so we were worried if they would really come to pick us up. But we were relieved when we received a phone call saying they were running late after a slight delay on the day of. The people in the same group were very international and very nice. The guide, Birol, was also very nice. I booked the Red Tour, but I don't know about the others, but some parts of the Green Tour were mixed in. I spent the next day relaxing without booking the Green Tour.
Guide: This tour is really nice and a good experience. The tour guide is very friendly and helpful.
It was excellent! In addition to the tour locations listed beforehand, they also showed us a pottery workshop and souvenir shops in Uçhisar. Our tour guide, Bilal, spoke English that was easy to understand, even for someone like me who was quite anxious about my English proficiency. It was a great guide!
Although it was snowing on the day and there were some places we didn't stop at due to road conditions, it became clear that this is a wonderful tour company (Sefa was in charge that day) that prioritizes safety when deciding on the tour itinerary. It was a valuable experience to be able to enjoy the numerous spectacular views created by the snow.
