This should be the package to buy if you want fo move cities with 2 big luggages. Bought for Kanazawa - Takayama via Shirakawa Go, had enough time to explore the village without having to worry about the luggages. The driver was soo nice and detailed!
We loved the bus. We took it from Takayama to Kanazawa. We stopped in Shirakawa-go and were able to see several parts of the place, we missed 2 or 3 things but we were happy with what we saw.
Stop precisely as indicated, departed punctually at 1:20 PM. Two stops on the highway for necessities. Unfortunately arrived one hour late, due to heavy traffic at the entrance to Kyoto.
So happy we chose to use this bus service instead of the trains, we could very easily bring our large luggage without hassle. the drive was very scenic and smooth. The bus stops along the way for bathroom breaks. the bus is spacious and clean and the seats recline quite far back. We were lucky as our bus was almost empty but during busier times I suspect the bus would have more people. Overall very convenient way of getting from Kyoto to Kanazawa!
Very convenient if you're bringing luggages for Takayama-Shirakawa Go-Osaka route. The bus personnels were helpful and even lent us umbrella in Shirakawa Go because it was raining a little. Bus is bright yellow so it's so easy to spot.
bus was punctual. journey was good. had a bit of language issue with the driver, but overall all was good.
Finding the bus station was very easy, even though I was traveling with three family members and carrying three large suitcases. The bus driver was very friendly and helpful. The journey took around 7 hours, with stops at rest areas every 2 hours. The rest areas had beautiful scenery, which made the trip very enjoyable. We also stopped in Kanazawa and Shirakawago, allowing us to enjoy amazing views along the way. After arriving in Takayama, the driver kindly helped me with directions for returning to Osaka. He explained clearly that we could go back either by bus or by JR Line. Overall, it was a truly great experience and I really enjoyed every moment of the journey. Thank you, Klook, for this wonderful bus package!
it was a beautiful day and the mountain was great. very confusing that we had to leave the bus at one point take a cab and rejoin the same bus later. it was never explained why. but it all worked out. it was a very long day.
This ride allowed a different journey from Kanazawa to Takayama (ie, not a train), and the stop at Shirakawa-go was my reason for taking it. At the station, instructions were posted that the bus would be at platform 1. The bus arrived on time. It was clean, and no trouble storing my luggage at the trunk. The driver was helpful, and I was even able to borrow a charger. Suggestion though, please mention that the bus would be parking at an area that would require one to cross a suspension bridge.
this part of journey stopover at shirakawago for abt 1.5hrs. it was abit rush for us. dint Manage to see all but on the way back from takayama to kyoto they stopover at this place for longer time 2.5hrs.
