Korean Modern Pottery Experience: Coloring Techniques

In Korea, goblins are believed to possess mystical powers that help and guide people towards goodness. Inspired by this Korean folklore, we create pottery featuring the faces of these goblins. In this class, you will have the experience of freely painting a goblin vase, an artwork by ceramic artist, using 10 different colors of ceramic pigments. There’s no need to worry about painting on ceramics. We will provide traditional Korean pattern decals and reference photos for beginners. About 2-3 weeks after your experience, you will have a unique collaborative art piece, combining your creativity with the work of a contemporary Korean ceramic artist.
