The tour was advertised as guided, but there was only a driver who barely spoke to us. He was on the phone the entire time. Three hours one way, he was speaking nonstop on the phone while we were crammed into his beat-up car. On the way back, he was constantly texting and driving very unsafely, going 140km/h, frequently taking both hands off the wheel, not looking where he was going, etc. (I am familiar with Egyptian driving, this was not normal). He just drove us to the waterfalls, then to a pottery shop in the village, to the lunch spot (where it took more than 1.5 hours until we got food), then back. No explanation, no offer to take a quick break. Then he wanted $15 after we had already parted ways for hotel pickup, even though the hotel was listed as free pickup. We started at 8:15, came back at 17:30. Six hours in the car. My advice: Don’t book this tour. Get a driver for the day (€60-90), you won’t get less than what we got for €93/person as a group of 3 people.
