An extremely pleasant trip! Tour Guide: First of all, a huge shout-out to our driver-guide, Mr. Duan. As someone from a low-altitude area who frequently gets carsick, I didn't get motion-sick even once despite the countless mountain switchbacks. His driving was extremely smooth and gave us great peace of mind! Not only is his driving top-notch, but he is also very humorous and thoughtful. He anticipated many situations for us, and thanks to his advice, we didn't experience altitude sickness. Good physical health is an essential guarantee for an enjoyable trip! Highly, highly recommended! Accommodations: The value-for-money tour definitely delivered on its promise; every hotel was arranged very reasonably. My absolute favorite was Jianglv in Wunongding—it's the kind of place I would come back to stay at again and again. Itinerary: The entire process was very friendly for hiking beginners. It allowed us to experience the wonders of nature without being overly exhausting. For someone who has never been to Shangri-La, just a few days were enough to experience so much of its charm. If I had traveled on my own, I could never have had such a seamless experience. The planner and all the staff in the group chat were very attentive. Thumbs up endlessly! This trip perfectly met our expectations. Our guides, Jian Siji and Juhua (Huahua), were very kind and responsible, taking excellent care of us throughout the journey. We loved the architecture, scenery, culture, and the lovely people here. The hotels on this trip offered both beautiful views and unique charm; each of the four hotels had its own distinct features and advantages. Our two favorites were Jixia Mountain and Bandu. When we visited Pudacuo National Park, it was raining, and walking along the wooden boardwalks through the misty forest was a unique experience. It's a shame we didn't get to see the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight.' If we have the chance to visit Shangri-La again, we'd love to see the summer flowers on the Yunnan mountains and the mushrooms in late summer and early autumn.

My first time booking a private customized 5-day tour to Shangri-La, Yunnan with Klook was an absolutely amazing experience! Because I really wanted to visit Lugu Lake, the tour designer not only planned a super reasonable itinerary but also specifically selected hotels and activities that perfectly matched my needs. The most stunning part was the hike through the Baima Snow Mountain Forest Ranch. The accommodations also exceeded my expectations. The newly added hotels, "Bandu" and "Qianshanji," were fantastic. Whether it was the design, comfort, or service, they truly impressed me. This trip was the most satisfying Yunnan trip ever. Our driver and guide, You Xia, was very dedicated and responsible, always on time. The restaurants she recommended were affordable, delicious, and offered excellent value! The service was warm and attentive, and she carefully checked on our health every day, reminding us to ventilate by opening the windows. The leisurely pace of the first day in Shuhe Ancient Town sets a gentle prelude to the highland journey. The Tiger Leaping Gorge hike on the second day instantly elevates the trip to a climax—walking along the cliffside trails of Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, with the Jinsha River roaring below, the power of nature is awe-inspiring. Then, standing on the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge viewing platform, watching the river surge like golden scales, one cannot help but marvel at the magnificence of creation. Arriving at the Songtsam Linka Hotel in the evening, the fusion of Tibetan luxury and the secret realm of the snow-capped mountains is perfect, and the sunset under the prayer wheels of Dukezong Ancient City adds a sacred touch to the day. The golden roofs of Songtsam Monastery in the morning mist and the chanting of scriptures bring rare tranquility to the soul. On the way to Deqin, the Meili Lodge hotel guards the snow-capped peaks with an excellent view. Although we missed the "golden sunlight on the snow mountain" phenomenon, it left us wanting to come back. The White Horse Snow Mountain hike was a pleasant surprise; the primeval forest dyed with autumn colors and the majestic snow peaks created a visual feast, with every step taken amidst natural wonders. The Banyan Tree Benzi Lan hotel is like a secluded paradise on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, where the charm of an ancient post station and modern comfort are cleverly integrated. The shimmering autumn waters of Napa Lake and the colorful forests of Pudacuo National Park make people feel as if they are in a fairy tale world. And the Dala Ranch is the warmest chapter of the journey—the golden retrievers strolling among the golden haystacks and the lazy tabby cats by the fireplace instantly soften the vastness of the plateau. Finally, the time spent painting thangkas in Dukezong Ancient City is the best way to unwind after a long and dusty journey. Carrying the compassionately designed patterns painted by our own hands and the rich aroma of yak jerky, this journey comes to a satisfactory conclusion with the dual gifts of culture and local products. This is a dual pilgrimage of body and soul, with both the wild call of Tiger Leaping Gorge and the spiritual nourishment of Songtsam Monastery; we witnessed the aloofness of the snow mountains and gained the warmth of the pastures. The autumn colors and culture of Tibet have become the most intense colors in our memories. Finally, thank you to Master He for his steady driving skills and for assisting in taking care of my mother and me. It was the perfect ending to my mother's retirement trip.

The whole itinerary is relatively relaxed, but it doesn't lack experiences, making it suitable for traveling with a few close friends. Especially Master Lu Chao, he drove very steadily the whole way and would modify the itinerary according to our requests. The online customer service was also very responsive and provided comprehensive service. Overall, the experience was very good. The first half of the trip was mainly sightseeing. The night in Dukezong Ancient City was particularly flavorful, and the Songzanlin Monastery was also full of mysterious Tibetan Buddhist culture. We also added the Feilai Temple observation deck on a whim and bought our favorite cultural and creative trinkets. The second half of the trip was mainly hiking in forests and national parks, which was a particularly different experience, and it's a good starting point for hiking beginners. Although there are fewer landscapes in winter, taking photos with yaks, feeding squirrels and birds, and the frozen creek are also very beautiful. Overall, the few days of stolen leisure were full of experiences! The accommodations were all high-end, and we basically ate at the hotel, making it a worry-free trip. However, you should keep your oxygen pillow fully charged at all times. If you have a headache or can't sleep, inhale it quickly, after all, an altitude of 3000+ meters is no joke.

Made a very last-minute booking, hoping to catch the golden sunrise on the snow mountains in winter, and it was totally worth it. Itinerary: The arrangement was very smooth and seamless. Even in just a few days, I got a clear understanding of the Lijiang-Shangri-La route. Tour Guide: The driver was very enthusiastic and professional, very familiar with the route; every day he helped us arrange the entry and exit times, and provided us with a lot of travel advice, which was a great help for us first-time visitors. Accommodation Choice: I experienced hotels/B&Bs with different advantages for four days, and rested very well. Attractions: The Baima Snow Mountain hike was the highlight of this trip, led by a very capable guide. It was my first time challenging a high altitude, wild route, and the moment the snow mountain appeared in front of me, I felt that all the bumps along the way were worth it.

Besides his guiding and driving duties, he's practically a part-time photographer, happy to take pictures and great at suggesting poses and interactions, adding a lot of fun to our trip! Accommodation: All hotels or B&Bs are top-tier in the area. The quality matches the price. Each hotel has its own unique characteristics. Songtsam lives up to its reputation with its strong Tibetan features. Immediately upon descending the mountain, facing the Meili Snow Mountain was a truly breathtaking experience. We were fortunate enough to see the entire mountain. Dala Ranch allows you to get up close and personal with nature, offering a sense of returning to nature and the tranquility of childhood, which the children especially loved. Itinerary: The experience is rich and diverse, covering history, culture, nature, ecology, and outdoor activities. Each member of our family found something they truly enjoyed.

Because she told us a lot of details about what to pay attention to in the high altitude, we didn't experience any altitude sickness during this entire high-altitude trip, and didn't even take a puff of oxygen! She also took us on a niche hiking route and successfully climbed to the top of the Baima Snow Mountain hiking route! I recommend finding Master You Xia if you come to Yunnan! Very reliable!
